  • was the mission for transport, pax or VIP?

  • @tubelib Neither. It was her final flight for photographs over Sydney Harbour before heading into retirement.

  • Goodbye Old Girl....have actually worked on her and her sisters many years ago....

    Sad to see them go.

  • @jdisnow Beautiful aircraft. I used to work near the AFB and loved everytime one came in. Thanks for watching :)

  • @AbraxasVideo Any idea what happened to them? Are they still parked at Richmond, or have they been turned into apprentice food?

  • @jdisnow I think they've now been sold to another company. They're no longer at Richmond.

  • @AbraxasVideo Sold to Omega Air.

  • hey Dan, have u seen the topic on the YSSY message board, they've been sold

  • @huntsman335 Hey mate, yeah I think I read that thread. That's kinda good news but will we get to see them anymore?

  • Great Video of RAAF 707, an plane I do miss seeing in our skies. What is the Tri-jet in the background and who does it belong to? :)

  • @phantomworks23 I remember in my early days of starting to work at Richmond I went to the Maccas and was graced with the sight and sound of one of these 707's on finals for the AFB. My god that was amazing!

The tri-jet was definitely a USAF KC-10, but can't remember from where. It was a regular visitor to Richmond at the time :)

  • @AbraxasVideo That would of been a beautiful sight, I think the RAAF 707's are not hushkitted either so ifthat is the case it would of been even better! Thanks, I suspected it was a KC-10, i think the paint on the tail threw me off :P
