  • if you are a professional why can't you play in time?

  • Thank you. I haven't heard my dad play this on acoustic since he died.

  • It's actually played with a plectrum and in the sixties there were no light gauge strings thats why it may be hard for young guitarists with 9er gauge strings to get the

authentic sound. What this bloke is playing in this video is total bollocks

  • Am C D F Am C E Am C D Am E E7 AM C etc great one to learn

  • im a lefty from birth but when got my first guitar it was a reg right handed mex strat it set around for 3 months then when i seen their was no hope at the time to get a lefty cuz of the hassle and price, i forced my self to play righty i felt like i could never do it, then i started to get lessons in my sleep for a old black guy later after tracing a bunch of nirvanas influences i found leadbelly didnt think much bout it then seen the news reel of him and realized it was the dude in my dreams

  • i am a original righty but i works on lefty!!!!

  • You rock dude..

  • the video isnt the best one but its nice to see a leftie in action :P

  • righty strat up

  • Lefty's FTW

    LEFTY"S OWN YOU ALL

  • Lefties Rule

    Ver nicely done

  • lefty! ew

  • YAY for a fellow leftie!

  • Lefties UNITE!!

Oh, and it would be great if you busted out the vox too!

  • yeah go leftie go

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY lefties!!!!! :) im not alone...

  • Great videos and since I am a lefty and it is difficult to find another lefty your videos are awesome.

  • can u do a free lesson on this plz? Thanx

  • good!!

  • It's not obvious at all, you can easily flip a webcam image.

We'd be able to tell if we could read the time on his watch, the light in the room isn't natural so if we could read the time we'd know if it where flipped or not.

  • Or. you could just watch where the low E string is, which is being picked by his thumb. He is a lefty. LOL.

  • yes he is a lefty

  • thanks a lot man

i just started playin and your lessons have given me some pretty good songs to impress my friends with. 5/5

    keep 'em coming please =)

  • the only song i can play on guitar and it took me about 30 hours to lern. This is gr8 it brings back my school days

  • r u a leftie :O!?

  • Great job, thanks! I'm going to try this one soon - if I manage it in 36 hours I'll be more than happy. Maybe he's a rightie, but has inverted the video to fool us. Or maybe, he played it backwards and then reversed it for our benefit. Off to watch "Enemy of The State" and "Conspiracy Theory" now...

  • great job :)

  • yay, i know this

  • Hey lazyfret - Your lessons are great . I've only been playing 15 weeks and they have really helped me to play while learning some great songs. I really like your arrangement of DH's House of the RIsing Sun, so I've recorded my own version by way of a thank you.

  • Great Job! I just printed out Mr Hodge's lesson on this earlier today. It's nice to see someone else learning like I am. Keep up the good work!!

  • I really liked it. Are you going to give a lesson on how to play it?

  • possibly ?

  • Personally, I think Fmaj7 sounds truer to the song than F.

  • So do I, A guy by the name of David Hodge produced this arrangeemnt, he is a very experienced pro.

  • You're absolutely right. I'm a big fan of David Hodge and his lessons (Guitar Noise) are the best available on the internet, again this is my personal opinion.

  • great job enjoyed watching.

  • It's wrong, but i like the way you play it, it sounds good, keep up the good work.

  • Hi, This is an arpeggio arrangement with moving base line produced by an excellent professional guitarist. Different arrangements are not wrong, they are just individual interpretations.

  • awesome playing

  • it's ok but sounds wrong :)

anyway it's your version , it's your site and it's ok for me

the problem is that I'm this song fan and I got almost 1000 different versions :) No one play it your way. ;)

  • Dude, it's an old song with lots of versions and interpretations. You can like the Who version, the Blues version, the New Orleans Blues version,etc... Don't fear change or differences, embrace them. ;)

  • 4th chord is F Greetings

  • Thanks, Fmaj7 works just as well and it's easier isn't it. I like to make life easy !
