  • As kids, my older brothers & I would pretend to throw the match that got that fire started every week :)

(And there is 1 dislike? Seriously? Do U go around and make sure no one has a perfect record? How sad a person U must be. Not like this one?! Wow.

  • very good but as instrumental song called?

  • xDDD

  • At ghstwn, actually I have and it has always kind of bothered me, I always thought that for some reason or another, Pernell's character Adam should have had an ammunition gun belt... considering the character the situations he always was in.

  • How many of you fans ever noticed that none of the Cartwrights ever had bullet carrying gun belts? All their gun battles were fought with one loaded six gun. Yet, no matter how many times they had to shoot, they had the ammo. This was a producer decision. They did not want to portray the family as gun fighters. This is why somehow, they always had a pocket full of extra bullets. LOL! It's a fact you never thought about did you. ;)

  • Bonanza! A series that conquered the world. In the 20th century! The America was evident with the talents of man's campo.A way of speaking the Truth to Justice. It was good times on television!

  • the show that gave birth to the saying: "my arse is like the map from Bonanza!"

  • It was often asked if the Cartwrights were gay. Michael Landon stated "That was simply not so, but fortunately Hop Sing was"

  • yo lo miraba en catalan !! LOL

  • This is my favorite version of the opening with all four of them riding up through the clearing in their "trademark" outfits. Imagine that shot with the Sierras in the background today in HD. Bonanza was a beautiful show to watch when it was shot on location.

  • I loved watching re-runs of this as a kid! It used to come on KMCI-TV Ch. 38 "Family Greats" right after Gunsmoke and just before Bat Masterson and The Lone Ranger on Tues. and Thurs. "Westernoons"

  • Gracias por publicar el vídeo con la banda sonora de la presentación de la serie. Por lo visto, ha fallecido el último actor que sobrevivía: Pernell Roberts (papel de Adam).

  • A canadian classic too, loved it as a kid , wouldn't miss it .

  • Slim pickens, I ordered you people to get a little track laid, not to jump around like a bunch of kansas city faggots

  • actually, each episode staerted w/ a diffo person as 1st in opening credits

Somebody wants to pick a fight with us, he better bite my ass

  • never missed bonanza sundays at 9

neighbors across the street would invite us over to watch on their color tv

  • American Classic a piece of americana.

  • When was Dan Blocker the first face on the opening credits? Never, it always started with Lorne Greene....

  • Slim Pickens indeed!

  • Is it just my memory or did the whole family cockblock each other all the time?

  • una de las mejores serie en tv me acuerdo las caminadas qeu nos pegavamos nuestros hermanos para ver esta serie muy buena

  • Bonanza was the All American TV western.

They always had a right vs wrong, justice must be done message.

  • i've seen that episode!

  • Slim Pickens!

  • season 4 original air date Jan. 27, 1963, called "Half A Rogue."

  • Anyone out there a "Seinfeld" fan? Because in the "Chinese Restaurant" episode there is a 'hidden' Bonanza reference aka joke. When the Chinese guy is calling George, and he's saying "Cartwright.....Cartwright", it's because over the phone he hears "George COSTANZA", and thinks of "BONANZA", thus, he is paging "Cartwright". Brilliant comedy writing. If you never saw Bonanza, you don't get the joke.

  • What season was this from?
