so its a movie about a fat, stupid, ignorant gnats fan with an irrational hatred for america's team, who still lives with his mom at age 40 something, who has a shit job, thinks people give a shit what he says on radio talk shows, who meets his favorite player (a no good, chimp jawed thug who hangs out with local bar filth) and gets his ass kicked (as opposed to getting an autograph), is too pussy to admit it, and finally, just says 'fuck it' and bandwagons the eagles?

i'd say it's spot on.

The point of this film is that being a "Fan" to this guy was all he had in his life. His "being a fan" defined his otherwise pointless existance. The film demonstrates his belief that being a "part" of this team was more important to him than "being a part" of a normal life. More character development would probably demonstrate for us why his life is reduced to his only important quality, which was being loyal to and feeling like a part of something bigger than himself. He was a real "fan".

I dont know why this is listed as a comedy.its not really funny.I did like it though,its more of a dark comedy so if youre expecting superbad,dont watch it.the ending is kinda stupid,although unpredictable,it just seemed silly.like they pretended to build up to something dramatic,and left you hanging.i guess thats how they wanted it.but it does make fun of how silly those grown men who live for sports and play fantasy football are.

really sad movie at first, you really have to feel sorry for the people like that in the world, but in the end everything turns out good, it's moving and inspiring, don't listen to anyone tell you it's bad, if you like Drama movies, WATCH IT, if you like Comedies, then don't, just because the guy who voice acted for the rat in Ratatoullie is in it, DOES NOT mean it's funny.

It was under comedy in the video store. Some of the best movies ever, such as Shawshank Redemption, did not make me laugh and I loved it. This movie didn't make me laugh. Good movies don't always make me laugh. It was a horrible movie. In my opinion, it's a terrible movie no matter how you look at it. No one will ever be able to say anything or call me any name to convince me that it was a good movie. It was horrid and rubbish.
