Good luck making a large website used by hundreds or even thouands every day on your own, that has the sort of interactivity his has. In business there's a fairly simple addage that does "if you can't do it yourself, hire someone else". Stick to what you can do and get someone else to do what you can't. That's what he did. Seems to be working ok for him.

BTW I love the idea of changing the comment system I prefer clicking reply (or quote) and having a text field pop up (youtube style). First time on technobuffalo I had no idea I was in reply mode until entering the comment. It's definitely usable now that I understand how it works, small improvements here and there are just icing on the cake!

That aside, congratulations on the success so far, hope it continues to grow and expand!
