  • it is a terrible misjudgment by VH that they were not filmed professionaly in their prime. This is really what the fans want.

  • Valerie Bertinelli on lead guitar??

  • AC/DC have plenty of videos on sale, Led Zeppelin have, Kiss, Ozzy... even Nirvana.

What about Van Halen? Sounds like they do not know how to manage their stuff.

  • this was so cool to see van halen like getting along, really great stuff, god they sound so good live.

  • If you were at this concert, chances are that I would've killed you for your ticket.

  • I like it more than the studio version. Where can I get it in better quality?

  • Wow, a Van Halen track where I can actually here Michael's bass. Sometimes I wonder if he's even plugged-in.

  • help em dance the night away al!

  • Ok. Post the rest of the show or release a DVD please!!!!!!!!

  • HOT!!!!!!!

  • All you posers out there, this is how it's done!

  • Happy New Year! Check out our version of the song: "Dance the Night Away 2012"

    Thanks!

  • Van Halen the king

  • 0:28 eddie van halen is the man

  • What the fuck are they thinking trying to replace MA with a Eddies kid????? So lame!!!!!

    This was the shit

  • @sbrave I don' know. Wolf is a better technical player than MA could ever hope to be. and Wolf's only twenty. His background vocals are pretty good too. But whatever, this was the band in it's prime, when they were at their best.

  • In the days when Roth had kick ass hair!

  • A long fu******....time ago boys and girls...

  • I remember when rock ruled. I was 14 when this came out. I saw VH in 82. I saw a lot of bands in the 80s. I collected Circus and Hit Parader magazines. I played air guitar in my poster-plastered bedroom. It was a blast. I don't know what 14 year old boys are doing today. Playing "Angry Birds" on their smartphones and listening to Nickelback?

  • @gdwme Same deal. 14 in 79'..Great time for real music!

  • @gdwme I was fourteen some odd 4-5 years ago. I was playing guitar for about 3-4 years then, didn't give a fuck about school and I rock'd day and night. If I wasn't starting car alarms with my amplifier I was playing the acoustic fer da ladies with the acoustic plugged into the amplifier and the amplifier starting car alarms. awsome days, I use to draw crowds. now I'm stuck inside doing homework. strange how things change isn't it?

  • @wootsilot God your bad with words.

  • OMG!!!

  • i think VH must have rehearsed every day from 1974 till 1984, this is awesum!

  • their backing vocals are so spot on! thats not so common when it comes to rock n roll live performaces, even with good bands

  • @cherryorchards too bad the lead vox are so off...lol he's......nevermind....it's still better than anything new. imo

  • Back when Eddie was still brilliant.....now, not so much.

  • @bermripper after mark tremonti went and visited them in the studio they said that there stuff that he heard sounded like this, good old classic old van halen ;D

  • More cowbell, Alex.

  • That is rock and roll

  • Thanks for the great VH vids !

  • Hahaa..just realized I spelled "unbelievably" wrong..below. How unbelievable!

VH and this tune however, are still awesome! ;D..woohooo...!

  • Bieber would cry for his momma if he was in the front row of this show!!

  • @1983REDROCKSU2 LOL!! Most definitely.. ;D..!!

  • Just Unbelieveably Awesome!! I Love These Guys!! ♥..!!

  • Never gets old!

  • eds tone rules here i love it

  • AWESOME Dave hair, lol :D

  • Really cool spin-jump by Dave at 2:51

  • What jumpy young gazelles they were here. I forgot they used to be like this. I mean David was wearing robes by 1981. They had virility and were flaunting it. This is the Van Halen I loved.

  • @NelsonClick You bet. This is IT.

  • Tap harmonics come so easily to Eddie. I can't play that stuff correctly! *green with envy*

  • 1 person loves Justin Bieber's dick

  • @rfd73 :)

  • @rfd73 UPDATE: 3 people like Justin Bieber's dick

  • out of breath my ass dave rocks this shit...i love eds tone here

  • Love Van Halen, love DLR, but I gotta say Dave sounds pretty crappy here. He must have been coked out of his mind; he's all out of breath the whole time.

  • Why do they release Van Hagar shit on DVD and not the Roth era??!!

  • I would buy a Blu-ray player just to get this.

  • PEOPLE WANT VH STUFF ON BLU-RAY RIGHT?!!!!

  • @hiterss Unfortunatly for us, people want Justin Bieber and all that shit on blu-ray :\ please god, bring back the '80s

  • awesome fucking song ROTH FTW

  • Man....why won't they release this shit on DVD/Blu-ray? KILLER!

DLR is not original: GO look up Youtube JimDandy. Not even this song (Dance the night away) was written by the Van Boys.

THis Jim Dandy song is sang live by this Playboy Unchained moving redneck that wrote Lee ROths destiny(With Style and movement)

DAV (through the years) was so HORNY TO make something happen that many were so HORNY To believe it~!

  • @Transnewton I thought they got the title from the Cream tune of the same name. Knowing how much Eddie was a fan of Cream, that seems to make sense.

  • @Transnewton

LOL...nice try...it was actually Jim Dandy who ripped of DLR...Jim Dandy is older, but he was just trying to stay relevant when he rocked the 'Ready as Hell' era in 1984. Check out the older Black Oak Arkansas..you'll understand...

  • @traxx19rw No, (Im not gonna get all ugly on the Internet) but Jim Dandy came first. His Black Oak Arkansas stuff was before DLR.

  • @Transnewton I'm trying to prove you right...Do you know where I can find a video of Jim Dandy swinging a sword, doing karate kicks and the splits prior to 1979? Been looking for a video like you said to do but can't find one. Please post the link

  • @Transnewton dude look up van halen the early years interview jim dandy sits down and states that dlr never took nothing from him he had his own thing going on word to the wise learn your facts before you troll
