It's just identity protection. Only soldiers that fall under the special operations command that deal with counter terrorism have stricter identity concealment requirements, and as for the British SAS, it was required when soldiers were required on IRA operations.
can u tell me y u cant see the sasrs faces i no ther sepesil forces but with the usmc and stuff u can c theres so y not the sas is it because therr real bad ass
Thats because USMC aren't Special Forces. The SASR and American units like the Combat Applications Group (Delta Force) and the SEALs don't show thier faces
if they get captured, they would claim they are nothing more than a medic team or pilot rescue team, if the enemy found out they were the devastating sas they would be tortured and killed after possiblyt getting vital information from them. the enemy dont like sas! =)
yer these guys are formed from 4RAR, called TAG E ay. took a tour of holsworhty barracks with school ages ago pretty good in there, but you dont see any of that shit lol i saw that building though its like two km into the bush!

They're called 2 Commando now.

I know, that was recent.

Some "special" military units like the SASR do work overseas that are not part of publicly acknowledged military
campaigns. You could call it fact finding or you could call it spying. The SASR often train and work with ASIS.

The ADF released it. You can't see any of the troopers' faces, and it doesn't reveal any of their tactics.
