Tämä olisi juuri paras mahdollinen kappale Suomen edustajaksi. Englanninkielinen versiokin on tehty, ettei ainakaan ole kielestä kiinni. Erottuu kyllä joukosta.
Johanna tarvitsisi säestäjäkseen sen perinteisen euroviisu-sinfoniaorkesterin! Johanna is a wonderful professional singer who would need the traditional symphony orchestra to back her up!
What i love about this is that she actually has all her CLOTHES ON. She's beautiful and sweet. I love this song and especially the melody so much it gives me chills, can't stop singing it. BUT still.. this is not the best song for ESC.
She looks spookily like Icelandic presenter Eva Ásrún. The resemblance is so uncanny that I suspect she has some Icelandic relatives. Lovely song, by the way, and a good vocal.
@SaNBeanz I see that "Oh boooring there is nothing happening where is all the fun and tempo" syndrome lives a good live.
Since introducing televoting in 98 ballads have had a hard time in ESC. Since introducing 50% jury in 09 now ballads once again have a change. Next step is to make it 100% and fair again.
If joke means political/diaspora voting then I do agree. If in terms of silly entries then they're doing really bad now thanks to jury. I like the jury vote as it's somewhat more fairer than before.
@klarinetta Irish gingers want ballads to succeed, because they had language advantage during the 90's. When that ended, so did Ireland's brief success in the ESC. Since 1997 real music has always won.
Todella kaunis laulu ja lauluääni!!!!! Hienoa tulkintaa!!!!!

on, kyllä, vaatteet päällä. Ja kaunis, ei lainkaan väärä areena. Kyllä viisuissakin voi olla tosi.

Absolutely beautiful. If this becomes the Finnish entry, don't translate it. It's fine as it is.

Erm, no. Not because it's a ballad I just don't like it. Uptempo songs can be equally boring too.
Some ballads tend to do well actually. Winners in 90, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 00, 07 were all ballads and more recently they're doing well.
SaNBeanz 1 year ago
@SaNBeanz I disagree 90,97 and 00 winners are not ballads in my opinion.
klarinetta 1 year ago
@SaNBeanz Ballads are doing well now because of 50% jury votes no other reasons for that.
klarinetta 1 year ago
I'd put them under as ballads but OK.
I do agree they're doing better because of the jury but they're not exactly 'winning' either.
SaNBeanz 1 year ago
@SaNBeanz No we still have some joke voting among the 50% televoting that ruins for the 50% jury voting
