Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia boss Eligor

Getting the medal for this guy was extremely tedious (And I was at... I believe level 58 when I did it), just because of how I wanted to get it done ASAP, and would always get hit in the fourth phase due to me not fully knowing his moves), but I got to admit, Eligor was, by far, one of the most satisfying boss battles in the game, at least for me... It felt so... well, complete! Though I fought using STR & INT altering R-Glyphs, Melio Macir, and Vol Fulgar... Gotta say, I love your strategy!

NOTE: For people who didn't get the record 5.... its in ecclesia go to the left wooden door and continue till you see a red chest... open it and you get the "heart of fire" from the NES Castlevania or record 5

How do you level up your owl-glyph? I had it out very much, and my owl did slightly more damage at the end than at the beginning I think, but it remained at lvl 1 with only one owl...

@Flumong you farm a bunch of owl-glyphs, you get a level for every 15 or something silly

When i fought eligor i used the DEATH ring(well i'm aiming for the medal so it will be the same if i die in one hit....) i used melio macir union for both front and back legs 650 damage BTW... and melio Hasta for the head 410x3 per union... owned him in two shots......(use the death ring if you are trying to get the medal for each boss)

Yes. You get medals for killing bosses without being damaged.

Well you must find all the villagers to go to the Dracular castle! After you fight win Albus you should fight Borlowe!

How did you get that? I'm level 33 and got as far as the Mystery Manor and the battle against Albus but never encountered anything like that.

It's some big spoilers I'm guessing you haven't found Dracula's Castle and got the bad ending? If so you need to save all the villagers

How? I don't know where they are and I'm having trouble getting to certain places because even my double jump doesn't take me to the right point. I end up stopping short and there's nothing fir me to use Magnes on.

How do you build the level of the owls?

No. Fastest way is to just get 30 owl glyphs..

You can buy the song after completing George's first quest.

I recommend trying gamefaqs for good leveling places, the sticky in the forms looks like it would answer your question.

Vampire Killer (Record 1) Is actually in the Ecclesia base. It's one of two hidden chests- Either in the room you start your glyph training in, or the top of the core tower, on the platform (The larger of them) On the left.

For all the Familiars you can level them up twice by collecting more of the same gliph. around 7 for each lv.

Buy all of them...they fricken own...really...hordes of enemies cool story, lot of weapons, cast and spells,leveling, exploring the whole world ...I enjoyed every one of them but this one OoE is a bit hard.

Next time use double Nitesco on his head. You need a little work while on his back but you mastered playing while on the ground. It took me about 20 times to beat him....I hate using pots...He always has two attacks on his back. You either have to crouch or get close to his body.

You can only get it during a boss fight before the castle. Don't worry he uses it all the time so just remember to suck it off him.

He's a pushover with the Melio falcis+Nitesco combo, which is also essential for beating level 1 hard mode. It can even hit his crossbows when you're under him. I was level 50 on normal and it hit for 700 damage.

It's Melio Ascia the strongest axe glyph.

It's dropped by the Great Knight, the large silver guy I think.

It uses a lot of mp for the power but it is great for taking out the crossbows.

You absorb more of the same glyph. 15 for lv 2 and 30 for a max of lv 3. It works for all familiars.

Oh so it's 15 to level it up...

I think I gave up when I had absorbed around 12 or 13...I was like screw this, I must be doing something wrong ._.
