Pretty cool. Would have liked to see how the joints go together, perhaps some construction shots. By the way, I am not sure the Amish are "a regression." Their barns look pretty steady to me!

I had great luck with EMT conduit. Cut it, flatten the ends, drill holes, and bolt it together. Easy peasie.
