You are correct. This was Yazoo in the UK (Mute Records), and Yaz (Sire records) in the States. The thing is, in 1982 when Upstairs at Eric's was released, all the records read Yazoo. I have the album and 12" records of Don't Go, and Situation where the artist is referenced as Yazoo under Sire records. There must have been some type of copyright infringement, and then they put labels that read Yaz over Yazoo (my 12" Situation has this label). What a combo (Clarke, Moyet).
