What are you smoking, he's not overrated. He's good at what he plays. Remember compared to who you brought up Lars Ulrich, it's a different sub genre of metal. Lamb Of God is very groove metal mixed with heavy and hints of thrash. Where as Metallica is known as thrash/heavy metal. Groove metal isn't a very easy genre to play. Chris Adler's style of "innovative" is very different from Lars Ulrich on top of that his stuff isn't easy to play it's very hard.
