I seriously think she is right when she talks about how gothic people are. I have been  pulled to the gothic side. I love to express myself in poetry, clothes, and writing. I love the darker life. At first, I used this to scare people, but I eventually discovered that this is truly me. And I'll never go back.

there are some gothic bellydancers i don't like that much, but her... wow! i mean i've found her today here and i saw her performance, and I respect that! she's amazing, and the way she really feels the music and that enchanting way to dance, oh i hope some day i'll dance in my own style in such a lovely way like her ! and btw com on people! let's live and let others live! like some people said below, we've got to inform ourselves before making a poor judgement... peace :)

Hi Ariellah! I think you and I could get along really well. May I pick your brain one of these days? I wonder if you have a slight misconception about regular people, maybe give them more of a chance..I'm dating a surfer and have crossed over...it is strange however they are people..just like us! However I do agree with you when you say that the goth label is widely adopted by certain individuals who need some sort of "scape goat". Finally someone said it where it can be heard!

I took a workshop from her. She was so nice, and a very good teacher. She kicked all our butts for 3 hours and didn;t even break a sweat. I was really suprosed by how tinny she was. It sounds really wierd but after watching her dance she has such a pressance that you expect her to be 6 feet tall. I was totaly suprise that she was no more then 5'4 at the most. She was litterarly running under people's arms to look at every one. I love her :)

Her DVD is certainly worth it. There is a lot of instruction, all of which is very thorough. It is an amazing way for both beginners to get a start and for those mid eastern/fusion dancers to review and practice. The yoga is also superb. And don't forget the performances that are included! =3

As for this video, I loved it, I can't wait to see more from Gothiphilia and from Ms Ariellah herself!
