  • sorry for the bad grammar I meant to say its the only thing they end up reading about. This is the last one

  • Right, there some much to discuss when it comes to the blues. But you end up talking to some who gos on and on about how great Robert Johnson is.I mean yes he's great, but it seems they only appreciate him for the myth that surrounds him. That and because he's a popular icon and that's the only thing about read about which is too bad

  • @SonnyMcGhee Yes. I think you're right. Hopefully, none of these videos will devolve into such talk. We can leave that to the ones that want to discuss the speed of the records, Eric Clapton, and the like. We need a space where we can listen to the ones that haven't yet become blues cliches. But to each is own. To the real blues.....! Thanks for your posts, even if youtube tried to mess with you.

  • @TheBWJohnson Again sorry if this is a double post.I posted but I don't see it.So I'll start again.Your right if it were not for John Lomax And Alan Lomax as well as record talant scouts like Okeh,Paramount and Victor and Black Swan as well as others these famous blues artist of the pre war days would be unknown.I almost skipped over Bud White.Good thing you posted this or I would of neve wold have a heard of him .I hope you do post more of his stuff. It would be greatly appreciated.

  • @TheBWJohnson I'm not sure if this posted or not.If it did sorry,if not here it go's.I could not find any personal info on Bud. White. Except that more then likely he was from ,or lived around Richland Georgia. That is we're he recorded three tracks in Febuary ,2 1969 for the George Mitchell collection Volume 15. I'm going to try later on to find a little bit more on him when I get some more time.Hope this helped

  • @SonnyMcGhee That's a good start. Those other tracks are good too. Maybe one day somebody'll jump in and post them. maybe i'll post White Horses, now that I'm thinking of it. It's just too good. Thank goodness for the guys that went out and recorded these guys that otherwise would have been forgotten.

Keep posting if you find anything. Thanks! Maybe we can actually turn the comments from useless nonsense on most channels to an actual blues discussion. ha!

  • I've never heard of nor can find any info on Bud White but his singing and playing is in enjoyable thing.

  • @SonnyMcGhee Yeah. Wish we could have heard more from him. If you find any bio info, please post.

  • I couldn't resist a listen! I'm so glad I have so little self discipline!!; D

What a great tune and rhythm... once again... thanks for sharing : )
