very clean, controlled playing, but i prefer a little more wild and crazy in this piece, especially in the "obsession" parts immediately following one of the "Bach" parts. this was just a little too nice.
It is not as well known as Janine Jansen and Hilary Hahn, but I see no difference technique and musical, I think she is among "the great" today, a lovely sound.
And she is taking one of the most beautiful violinists I have ever seen.
Bach Partita #3 + Dies Irae = ??? This was my fist time hearing this piece, and I didn't even notice the title at the bottom, so I thought this was going to be Partita #3... but now that I am recovered from the initial shock, I like it. :)
@hsviolinplayer The Ysaye Sonatas are worth the "shock and awe"! The story behind their composition (fact or fiction I don't think we will ever know) is certainly intriguing. Listen to the Ballade next, I believe it to be the most accessible to newcomers to the style.
Excellent performance!

1:25 beautiful transition there. So musical!
1:58 genius. I love the way those notes pop out. Great control of the musical line.
