U have too admire the willingness too try and pull this type of music off live, I mean obviously the people workin the sound boards and monitors have nothing to do with the bands playing, this is not hip hop where u just turn everything up. Mastodon are not afraid too just let go and have fun, u gotta appreciate that.

@kippwinger I agree it was the best. i thought it was better than raconteurs.... It also depended what side you were on. If you were facing the left sidde you got more bass, and if you were to the right it was more guitar and everything else. The vocals during mastodon were bad at first then troy told them to turn it up
@Hazmatron I was at this show and was in front of the camera man here. The issue was that the crowd was there more for Blink 182 and Snoop then Mastodon. Some folks tried to start pits etc but it never took off.

@Hazmatron yeah i was there and there wasnt much crowd energy in the beginning but it built up as the show went on

@Hazmatron It was a little quite at first then things started to get heavy. Mosh pit behind us and people crowd surfing like crazy.

@Hazmatron I think Soundgarden fucked up the equipment. The first few songs had no mids just all bass. So, the sound techs just turned everything up.
I have to say, Mastodon was the best show there.
