I personally prefer vanilla.

Super would have been more interesting if they buffed the roster to Ryu level, but instead they nerfed them to Guile level. And for the most part, it feels like the same game with watered down damage and mechanics.

It would have been better just to do a big vanilla patch for the good changes like handing Chun Li and Bison their new Ultras and things to shift up the gameplay and match-ups.

@MichaelJ9999 SSF4 seems way more balanced, yea the damage nerfing is bad but thats like the only bad thing on there, everything else is better. More characters, more ultras for different situations and less bull, it really seems like they improved the game rather than making it worse

@neontetra1000 Matchups are definitely more interesting on super I find. Once people get out of the phase of playing new char only or trying to exploit old elements from vanilla I think possibilities will open up a lot for greater viable selection in tourneys

If there's anything I miss about playing SF4 it's how reliable DPs are as anti-airs... the way it's meant to be. In SSF4 dudes jump in with impunity because they know they'll more than likely get a trade in their favour (damage wise), get hit out of the air for laughable damage, or stuff the DP clean.

SF 101... don't jump in unless you know it's safe.

@datriadx18 you're complaining that dps are weaker now when in fact they were too powerful in the old one. Fadc >>ultra was really easy to do with great damage. even trade ultra was bs. only those with dps benefited from trading. Now everyone is closer to equal grounds and you complain.
