This is not in Afganistan and it is definately not infantry, it is actually Joint foince Explosive ordinance disposal in Iraq on OP TELIC 6. This is a mixture of Royal Engineers, Royal Logistics and a few Royal signals personnel. I know because I was in this trrop but was on leave durring the filming of this video which was near to Shiaba Logistics base in Basra.

They will train in allied countries where the country has specific geology, like mountainous regions and jungles. They will train with that countries soldiers to learn from them how they deal with their areas and take on that countries army's specialised knowledge. Don't forget, UK has done much jungle fighting in the past [cont..]

Even just since WWII they have fought in the Jungles of Burma, Somalia and Vietnam (yes, they were fighting in Vietnam before the USA and even before the French. They have no doubt done much more fighting in Jungles that I don't know about.

Yes England is it's own country as are the other 3 countries that make up the uk but since the act of union in 1707 that created the UK all these countries have had one armed forces which is the uk
