why black didn't counter g7-g5 on 0:49? it seems it'd bring a little advantage to black.

@sqa4406 you can't take pawn moves back. g5 is very committal and would permanently weaken black's kingside. you do see this move in more aggressive variations by black such as the Ragozin Defense (w/ the black bishop on b4, intending g5, ne4, c5, and qa5 to pile up on the Nc3) - however w/ the bishop on e7 it's just too loose

@ClasesAjedrez I see, thanks for answer. Personally I prefer more agressive variation (when white decide to not to take knight after Bg5 and rather retreat to h4), though it's quite a risky.
