Nice attempt Xander! A few pointers...watch your intonation. My teacher always told me to play slowly to make sure intonation is right. Also, your left wrist should be relaxed and dropped. It should not be touching the neck of the violin at all in 1st position. If you're doing so, it may suggest a violin hold problem, check your chinrest and shoulder rest combinations/height etc. Keep playing! =D
