@edgedweapon88 ahh I see... well actually I don't but will take the oppertunity to have a look when I get to my laptop. thanks for posting up a great selection of videos ;)
Love the vid! As a road bike owner I have to ask what is the weight of the Felt? I used to ride a Bob Jackson frame with Campy components, but this was in the early 90's, and my 15 lb then probably seems cumbersome to the tech (carbon fiber) of today. Loved seeing this "other side" to you!
@barefoot130 I am glad you enjoyed the vid and it is always nice to meet another cyclist! My Felt is not as light as you may think because the frame is so large. I ride a 58CM and the total bike weight is around 18lb. Thanks for watching!
What a great vid. I too am a cyclist! I love the polar bottles, my friend's Aunt actually started that company and I got a personal tour of the factory in Boulder.
very very awesome!!!! I hope your summer is filled with these vids! I loved the boat of bikers.... that was hilarious and random! Thanks for sharing that! I'm like Hilary... if I'm on the road bike I roll up my sleeves too cyclists tan lines are the best but just not on girls lol I learned that lesson after a century ride followed by a wedding I attended... People looked at my arm line more then the bride hey oooh!
@katabunga The century we road when we took the ferry across the water was a lot of fun. It was quite an odd feeling trying to balance while the boat was swaying and wearing our riding shoes. Hill tries her hardest to prevent getting a cyclist tan but it is an uphill battle! I think she knows all too well how you felt at that wedding! Thanks for watching Kat!
You two are such a hoot! Two peas in a pod! Love it. Great stuff, dude. Looks like a great and fun way to get out and get some exercise and enjoy life.
@MrJimbofox haha thanks Jimbo! Hill and I both have so much fun riding and it is a great way to enjoy the outdoors. More than anything else it helps us to relax and get our minds off of the stress from every day life. Thanks for watching.
awesome thing katabunga started!!! u guys did an awesome job if it wasnt for u two i never would have seen katabunga hope this keeps rolling on love bike edc gear keep it coming thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!
Great vid. Big Felt fan myself. My cycling EDC is similar, except add Clif Blocks and/or Gu Gels. Redently started using a Seal LIne small waterproof pouch for my iPhone, ID, and insurance card. Have a RoadID elite that I love. Most recently picked up some transitions lenses for my Flak Jackets that are absolutely perfect for cloudy/rainy rides.
@ExtraneousSolutions How do you like the Clif Blocks? I have used Gu Gels/hammer gel for years but my girlfriend cant stand the texture. I have been trying to get her to try out the Clif Blocks. I like the waterproof pouch idea... I have been caught out in the rain many times already this season and my phone is always dripping wet. How do you like your elite road ID? My road ID is at the point where it needs to be replaced and I have been looking at upgrading. Thanks for watching!
The shirt I normally wear only has one huge pocket which is annoying. Do you guys every keep water bottles in your pockets? I have to say you both have very nice bikes. Mine is nothing special; it's a 2005 Giant OCR3, completely stock, except for the pedals and bar tape, which I switched to Lizardskins yesterday. How much was your computer? I'm looking for a new one.
@Riflemanm16a2 Yea I am not a fan of jerseys with only one large pocket. For longer Centuries I sometimes keep an extra bottle in my back pocket but it really depends on the ride. Giant OCRs are nice bikes! My computer was $120 but it has a lot of bells and whistles. My girlfriends computer was $50 and it works just fine!
Awesome vid. Im a cyclist myself and a lot of the stuff you carry i carry as well except for the extra blade. I just carry a skeletool cx with and allen key tool. How often do you ride?
@sk3wtr89 Thats pretty cool that you carry a leatherman. I like having more bike specific tools on my multitool(Chain tool, proper allen keys, etc). My girlfriend and I try to get out and ride 2-3 times a week. How often do you ride? What bike do you have?
@edgedweapon88 Well with me being fourteen, I cant afford my own bike but my grandpa is a huge cyclist and he gave me one of his bikes that he got custom made. Its pretty old so the manufacturer sticker is wearing of so i cant make out what it says. Ill aske my grandpa and then make a bike EDC video response and tell you what it is. I ride everyday except mondays and wednesdays because i work out with a trainer. I ride at 5:15 for about 30-40 miles with my local cycling group.
I had so much fun riding these centuries so far this year! It is always exciting riding in new places. Can't wait for our next ride! Thanks for sharing our adventures.
I've been exercising a lot lately trying to get back in shape so I can go mountain biking again. I haven't hit the trail since I was 15 when I was put on meds that made me gain a lot of weight!
I'm more of a mountain bike guy than a road bike guy, but I don't mind the odd trip down a road as long as I'm on my mountain bike :-)
Pretty awesome stuff, Keelen! It is apparent that there is a lot more that goes into cycling than just a bike and helmet. Very cool! Thanks for sharing, buddy. Stay safe out there.
I just fixed my mountain bike today and put 11 miles on it cruising around town while adjusting the rear derailleur, but to no avail, i need a new one. I need a new rear rim too...can't find one of those. :(
@edgedweapon88 I am going to check my local shops to see if they have the parts to fix it, all the parts I found online that work with my bike and is what I want, all cost more than I paid for the bike.
Why no iPad playback?..... :(
