Hi dark1secret, I used to worry about that as well. I'm protected by the Creative Commons, and I have copyright notice on the videos. I just don't think Hollywood could create the environment and feeling. They're too busy puting A-list actors and silly scripts to anything worth making. :).

Excellent work, let me say that up front. Every work can be improved, so if you'll permit me I'd like to make two comments. 1st is I don't see a reason the two fleets would criss-cross each other. 2. I could've done without 5 mins of a siren blaring in my ear. I realize why you put it in there, it was just really annoying.
Other than that it is excellent, as are all your videos. I think you've created a new genre.

To answer your question about the criss cross pattern, this was done because I wanted to give a sense that this fleet was approaching covering the earth in a fabric weave type pattern. The larger ships were higher and approaching from a different direction than the smalle searcher ufos.

Hi Manuel, good points. But you know, we don't know what type of technology current ufo's have that allow them to hover without a sound. These ships could use the same type of technology. Any of the technology would be beyond our understanding. The ending of the video doesn't show the arrival of reinforcements, what's happening is that their entire species is arriving. Like us, they have billions of beings and vehicles, ships. Their world could have been 100 times bigger than ours...

Hi Celabee, yes it's going to be an independent movie called "The Great Dark".
Movie studio should work for the project, I think they can get several free UFO models on turbosquid , it'll take you to all the free 3d models available which are pretty nice and should work very well. Let me know if you need any help along the way.

Hi Tallos, the key to much larger worlds is to use 2-D background plates for the distant horizon. You can render 1 scene that has mountains and distant stuff and put it as a background to your rendered scene. Most of what you see in movies is not 3-D, they are background plates. All of my videos use 2-D background plates mostly. I don't use 3D much. Even the UFO's in this film are 2-D not 3D.
TO MANY i bet if you caounted them theres probably like more ships in this video then there actually are people on the planet O_o i think i liked it better when it was just the one big one that looked like it was real footage ;_;
Hi nemesisnick66, that's where this video is going. It would take much more than one ship above each capital city to take over this world. And some habitable planets could be MUCH larger than our own, and it is most likely that an entire species arriving would comprise of millions of craft and millions upon millions of beings. Something you never see in movies, but it's something I believe is more likely to be closer to what would happen.
Their behavior is modelled after those of an army ant colony, in that they are always moving and eating and taking everything in their path. Like these ants, they don't waste one minute studying the lay of the land or their prey, they move in at force and obliterate anything in their paths. The next episodes will show "life under the canopy" which will be a darkened earth surrounded by these searcher UFO's, with the bigger ones patrolling underneath and the aliens scouring the surface.

Thanks guesstimate!!!! I admit I get a little carried away with the numbers, but there's just something shocking and horrifying about billions of ufo's covering the entire earth! The main concept of where this story is going, is that these crafts eventually cover the entire globe where no light can get in... which traps us. Then they go to work. See, they did not study this planet like you see in most ufo discussions, these guys spotted us and moved right in like ants on a caterpillar.
hard to say, some people would find a peace in the ending of their lives. Some would kill themselves, Depending on how fast these beings will kill off the human race. Looking up at the sky at something like this, would be as utterly terrifying as a nuclear mushroom cloud appearing outside your window.

Nothing in particular. I did some investigating and found you made your videos with Vue6. I immediately downloaded the trial version and have not stopped tinkering with it.
You're videos are truly amazing. I hope one day you will get your lucky break in Hollywood. Maybe I could be one of your animators. hehee. I'm learning quickly. My videos are nothing compared to yours but please keep up the work. You will get noticed, I'm sure of it.

Hi Celabee, yes it's going to be an independent movie called "The Great Dark".
Movie studio should work for the project, I think they can get several free UFO models on turbosquid , it'll take you to all the free 3d models available which are pretty nice and should work very well. Let me know if you need any help along the way.

Som don't work in FSX, That's the reason why many people aren't switching to FSX, they don't want to re-buy the payware addons for the FSX. That's me too, I have too much for fs2004 to throw it all away for some extra cars on the freeways in FSX.

Hi Scare, sorry took so long to reply.I think if you had Lightwave, and a good video editing program like Sony Vegas, you'd be all set. Can't be more than a little over a grand or two. I think the guy that did the "dogfight" series for the history channel used lightwave.

Hi Tallos, the key to much larger worlds is to use 2-D background plates for the distant horizon. You can render 1 scene that has mountains and distant stuff and put it as a background to your rendered scene. Most of what you see in movies is not 3-D, they are background plates. All of my videos use 2-D background plates mostly. I don't use 3D much. Even the UFO's in this film are 2-D not 3D.

Hi nemesisnick66, that's where this video is going. It would take much more than one ship above each capital city to take over this world. And some habitable planets could be MUCH larger than our own, and it is most likely that an entire species arriving would comprise of millions of craft and millions upon millions of beings. Something you never see in movies, but it's something I believe is more likely to be closer to what would happen.

Their behavior is modelled after those of an army ant colony, in that they are always moving and eating and taking everything in their path. Like these ants, they don't waste one minute studying the lay of the land or their prey, they move in at force and obliterate anything in their paths. The next episodes will show "life under the canopy" which will be a darkened earth surrounded by these searcher UFO's, with the bigger ones patrolling underneath and the aliens scouring the surface.

Hi Scar! Yes, a mind numbing amount of crafts arriving. This is a whole alien world coming to our planet, possible an alien world that was much bigger than our own. It would have millions of craft and beings arriving, virtually swarming this planet. Hollywood likes us to believe that all it takes is a sprinkling of crafts over the capitals to destroy us, but we ourselves number in the billions and the vehicles and crafts we travel in as well..... :) stay tuned. These guys are bringin everything they have, pretty soon they will engulf the entire planet, and the next episode will be life underneath the "canopy" and an intimate look at one of the ships up close.

Thanks guesstimate!!!! I admit I get a little carried away with the numbers, but there's just something shocking and horrifying about billions of ufo's covering the entire earth! The main concept of where this story is going, is that these crafts eventually cover the entire globe where no light can get in... which traps us. Then they go to work. See, they did not study this planet like you see in most ufo discussions, these guys spotted us and moved right in like ants on a caterpillar.
