this was a lovely song and well played... I also play a Geiger fingerstyle guitar (the Crane)... Mark's guitars are easily the best guitars I have played - ever.
@SermonsinSong - thanks for the reply and comment. Do you live in Southern California where Mark Geiger lives or how did you hear about his guitars? He's makes wonderful guitars for sure!
@TimPachecoGuitar ...I am traveling most of the time, and we are frequently in Southern California (we are near Covina and the Fret House for a few weeks now). I found my guitar through Annetta Glick in San Diego (Fine Guitar Consultants), and chose it over many other big-name instruments. It has no peer, IMHO...
Very well played. I've uploaded my cover of 'Little Meggie' which you might be interested in watching. It's a pity that Michael Gulezian isn't that widely known in the guitar community otherwise there may have been more cover performances than yours and mine.
I am going to wear this song out. Anyone who appreciates your talent has experienced what it's like to be transported by music--the power of a sense memory of decades ago when innovators started to play impressionistically--one phrase triggered Joni Mitchell--love it.
Well played. I have that cd, and it is a great tune. You took the tune and played it your own way, which I think he would encourage.
Michael is definitely a unique person and a free thinker on the guitar. I am waiting to see if anything comes of the tune that he started to compose on my old Taylor 555.
Thanks, I really love the tune. I think I stayed pretty close to the original, but there are a few parts that I just did my own thing with. Michael is a wonderful guy who has a wonderful spirit. He just finished recording a new CD, maybe the song you speak of is on it?!

Wow the first flawless cover of a Michael Gulezian piece I have ever seen. I wonder, can you play anything else by him?

Thank you for the compliment. This is the only song I know of Michael's, although I'd love to learn "Little Meggie".
