  • I like this song better by the seekers than by cyrkle

  • @Carolarny1 I'm actually somewhat disappointed with this one...that Judith's voice wasn't out front. ;-)

  • I think Paul Simon and one of the Seekers wrote this... Yes? No? Maybe So?

  • @snowfan They did. However, the Cyrkle got there first.

  • @TheGerkuman Got where first? To the studio?

  • @snowfan I dunno. All Art Garfunkel; said when they played 'Red Rubber Ball' live in concert once was that the Cyrkle 'got there first'. So presumably they planned to do something with the song, but were beaten to it.

  • @TheGerkuman Simon wrote this as well as several other songs during the year (1965)

he was in England as a solo artist. My impression is he had no specific plans at that point

to get back together with Garfunkel, with whom he had worked earlier.

  • @snowfan LOL @ the studio! lol

  • This is done very well!!! Thank you!!!

  • All my life, I've only heard Cyrkle's version of this song, but The Seekers do a nice version of it also. I can hear Judith's voice in the background. Again, it's a very nice rendition. Thanks for posting!

  • @Beautifulmusiclistnr Check out the Simon and Garfunkel version, it is also terrific.

  • @MasterEled I heard it. It's a nice version. I think I like the Cyrkle's version best, but I also pretty much like anything from the Seekers but particularly Georgy Girl.
