I did it, and yes, most of the sounds came of the split mix, and others.

@solsticedj I appreciate your reply. There was no malice intended in my comment, more like confusion. I saw the "Techno Remix" title above, was really curious as to how it would sound, and then realized this is a slight modification of the "split mix". My comment was more of a question as to how the split mix could equal a techno mix. Now another term is being thrown in, "razormade". For all of us clueless folk, could you piece this all together for us?

@tracksdc89 Razor remixes where made for club DJ's, they usually make them more dance club friendly. A lot of other DJs like made myself made our own so we could play music we liked that could still fit the atmosphere. I Used the split mix, and a few other remixes of the song to create various parts. I also added a manual flanger sound and a back beat and baseline. I initially made this so I could play it without having some club manager complaining I was going retro.

This is a remix, however it is not a techno beat.

Nice remix. I like depeche mode, but there is nothing techno about the remix. When you say techno, you mean to refer to the beats per minute. To be a "techno-remix" the song would have to be sped up to a pure techno beat. In fact I would love to hear this song in a techno beat.
