To the people who thinks the Sims in Sims 3 are fat: you can edit that when you create your Sim. If you make them eat too much and they get fat, that's your fault. >_<

I've always like the facial looks of the sims in Sims 2 better than I have in Sims 3. I think both have great gameplay, but I grew up with Sims and Sims 2, so I guess I have a good reason to like those games most, but I still play Sims 3. The Sims in 3 look more realistic and you pretty much have full control over what they do and don't look like. It is especially good if you have custom sliders.
Just my opinion. I was never much of a fan of Sims 2 and probably never will be. House building is not as fun and CAS isn't nearly as nice.

On the subject of which is better, Sims 3 is more for house builders and custom content makers. Sims 2 is good for the gameplay. I still say that Sims 3 has amazing gameplay, though. You can do A TON of stuff like visiting friends across the city and then go fishing with NO loading screens. I dunno.... I think if EA finally releases pets and seasons/holiday it'll be the best Sims game yet. Plus, I like the Sims better.

Guys, please. Sims 3 is NOWHERE near being ready to be comapared to Sims 2 with all the expansions and stuff packs. Sims 3 just needs time. Sure its heartbreaking losing all your fun stuff and other awesome things with a new game, but give it time. Sims 3 will live up to its Sim name.

University is being made =) But its going to be called Genarations cause it adds the each ''age'' station more actividies for exemple = As a child you do a lot of more plays and stuff... as teen age you have those teen problems and you do a lot of bullshit haha and I mean really bullshit! i like the sims 2 way better i have the pets, castaway, double deluxe, and apartment life and im getting the sims3 for wii for x-mas.but im a BIG fan of sims. i just like the sims 2 better cause u can do so much more. i mean u can do a lot of cheats, downloads, and they have so much more different stuff like holidays, pets, etc. thumbs up if u agree

@TheMissKitter People can cry about anything these days. The only thing worth crying about over the Sims 3 is the fact you need a good computer. Preferably $1.2K dollar computers. Pathetic thing about it is that they are both Sims games. Other people argue things like "Halo is better than COD" or "COD is better than BF3". But you're arguing over the exact same game. @mrjakethesnake8464 TS3 is boring because it doesn't offer any imagination or creativity. You can't even enter community lots, let alone build one. They look more stiff for some reason, and their movements are more robotic. Basically, TS3 is for the people who just want to play, and TS2 is for people who want to create. TS2 is limitless.

You can change your clothes colors, your personality, even your house to the maximum extent. So what do you mean it offers no creativity? It's honestly as limitless as Sims 2, but you can do more. @purplerose695 i played sims 3 before and idk if i can just get used to it but i removed it from my computer because i didn't like it. i like sims 2 better. i don't want anyone thinking i'm a hater...because i'm not i love sims in general. anyways. sims 3 is more like complex than sims 2 idkk i cant really describe the differences. sorry! ahaha. also, maybe its just me, but i think that sims in sims 3 are fatter/wider than sims in sims 2. ahaha. js. happy simming! :)

University is being made =) But its going to be called Genarations cause it adds the each ''age'' station more actividies for exemple = As a child you do a lot of more plays and stuff... as teen age you have those teen problems and you do a lot of bullshit haha and I mean really bullshit! Like water ballons, stink bombs etc, you will also have the university and the gratuedion day and all the other special days.. and some other stuff that havent been told yet...

@slimey103 Its $20 per expansion and for the Double Deluxe version. Strangely I've never seen the Sims 2 Holidays in stores.
P.S Sims 2 University is also a good expansion to invest in you can bring Sims back from the dead with that one.
