Great stretch of roads. I live above the lower dam road there. Going up towards ski sundown. I guess I should stop taking them for granted. Frost heaves usually get the best of them each winter!
Thanks for the vid! only vid i've seen so far of riding like that in CT. I grew up in CT but moved to florida and got my first streetbike there. They don't have roads anything like that down here! that was like a roller coaster. I should be visiting family up there this summer with the bike, A littler nervous though, that looked a lot more challenging than anything i've ridden besides track days down here. But don't have to worry about nearly as many things at the track!
That looks like an awesome ride! My dad owned a GS1000S Wes Cooley Replica back in the day. I was promised back in the day that if I got good grades that I would have gotten a GS1100E off the showroom floor but grades never happened. I did however purchase a Kawasaki Z1R and ended up selling that...stupid me that is now a classic and worth big money now, including the GS1000S Wes Cooley replica. I now have an 02' Kawasaki ZRX 1200R and in need of a ridding partner. A+ VID!
Thanks for the post. I use to ride my GS1000E all over that part of Conn. Lived in Enfield and loved the rte 20 to Rte 8 ride. Then north on 8 to rte 57 in Mass. That downhill / uphill hairpin on 57 in Tolland is KILLA! Moved to Florida 10 years ago. Mostly flat and straight, great for speed other wise boring. Wheeling around on a 2005 Honda CBR1000 these days. Great to hear the sound of your GS1100, sounds pretty close to my old GS1000.
For another version, with music, check out my other videos!!!!! Thanks!

Hmmmmm...was it red? I bought the bike from a guy in Belchertown, MA just over the border there from Enfield.

It was red but I brought it to Florida when I moved. Sold it to someone down here.
