Found my PSX...Inside was my Final Fantasy Tactics from such long time ago.... Turned the game on... Brings back so many memories. ='D Memory Card. OP Gear and Job characters. Forgot I had Cloud and a Chocobo.

This is the best game ever made. Such great memories. Oh that one dislike? Just someone who got killed by Wiegraf too many times and gave up. I lost and accidently deleted my game file. I cried. But thats no reason to give up! lolz

Every time I hear this song I begin to cry tears of nostalgia, I used to watch my brother play Final Fantasy Tactics when I was a little girl (Along with every other FF around that time). When my brother got this for me as a Christmas present, I turned on the game and smiled as the memories of the game flowed back to me as the first forty four seconds played. I can't wait to play it again. ^.^

I think I cried when I listened to this beginning sometimes. I sure feel like it now... I miss the memories of my life back then. I remember listening to the music before playing a few times, just to listen to it. I'm sure I feel asleep sometimes, and not getting past the intro..

have known this game back when still a midhigh student and now at 23 yrs of age, i sometimes still play this game, have cleared it a couple of times before, but this time i'm going to make cloud get at least lv 80 before clearing the game XD

@freerice9595 I keep playing it and becoming addicted to it, and then when the battery on my PSP runs out I just leave it for months before going back to it, it's definately one of my favorites, everything about it I loved before I had even bought it, but it was much better than I expected. I don't like the new releases in the main series, for me the last good one was FFX, but I have been impressed with the recent PSP releases, Crisis Core was amazing. Dissida was pretty special too.

@ Pukiyem: Umm, I'm sorry to say, but FFT wasn't the first game to introduce the job system, go play the original FFIII (Go grab a NES emulator if you have to and a rom of the game) and you'll see what I mean.

Also, FFVII is overhyped, compared to the older games, it's storyline is subpar, and the character's are weak (FFT thankfully did not succumb to this)

great story, great music, great artwork, this game talks about gems and stones, thats becuase the game is a gem of a master piece. its focuses on story about the war, the characters in the war, and it goes beyond the storyline. the side quests feel like they have their own stories too. the art work does a great job of illustrating the war and the mood. funny how this game holds the final fantasy name when clearly everything can be seen as a reality, the character emotions and the interactions.

Final Fantasy Tactics has the best storyline in any RPGs i've ever played. Playing VIII and IX was extremely disappointing.. (story wise).

The range of character classes you could choose from makes the replay value tremendous and the music is one of the best soundtracks on any video game.

i think fft also the first game who introduce the massive multiple job system( later be followed by almost all mmorpg today)

after ff7 and fft , i see the quality of ff series were dropped seriously ,especially by the storyline factor

i think square have their golden age in ff7 and fft era, and now they already passed it.

I feel the story was great, but just WAAAAY to complicated. It just had too many twists and turns. I loved how original it was and how it didn't just settle for the simple, good vs bad, kind of storyline. Still I think it needed to have a little less plot twists to have been lengendary. I wish they would of continued with the storyline though. It was worth continuing.

Whew... I remember the countless hours of playing this game as a kid. It wasn't until I replayed and beat it when I was a bit older that I realized the stoeyline and was like "holy shit..."

@devilman108 there was a Final Fantasy anime series. And I believe it was based on the Ivalice world. look it up. if memory serves me correctly, it wasn't very good. saw it on-demand anime network back in oooh 2005-06 thereabouts.

Tactics really is a game all to itself. Nothing will be able to replicate it in the same way for me. I LOVE Tactics. ^^ Not to mention that I have two copies of it. ;P
