I'm sorry, but this isn't good music or representative of what Dumitrescu can really do. The extended techniques - particularly those behind the bridge - are overbearing in this context and not remotely musical.

I'm surprised, because he generally writes great music. I don't know what he was thinking - or if he was thinking at all - when he put together this crap.

I love it. The technique, the rawness, brutality. This isn't good music IN YOUR OPINION, not mine. A great thing to keep in mind next time before you go generalizing wether music is good or not.

Yes, of course. It was merely my opinion, and I think I've been a bit hard on Iancu. After further listening, its growing on me more. I just hold him to very high standards, as I see him as a pioneer and outstanding composer.

This certainly isn't "crap" as I said before. Perhaps I was in a bad mood. It's unlike me to say something like that about one of my favorite composers.

I would love to hear Arditti perform this work.
