Try "Multi Crew Experience" (for which there is fully working downloadable Demo) voice control for FSX and FS9 and take FSX to the next level. Ask co-pilot to lower the gear or flaps, adjust speed altitude and heading on auto-pilot panel.
Can even talk to ATC.
All you need is a headset with microphone to experience the thrill of voice control.
Nice Vid man. How do I move arround in the cabine? I'm still new to this ;) And another thing, I lag so much when I use a 757 From Captain Sim., it isn't from the game because Defult Aircrafts work perfectly. Any Suggestions?

If its FSX, its prolly not, FRAPS, or etc, thats causing the jumpiness. You need a powerful PC to play FSX smoothly, I play FS9, and I have great framerate.
There must be a glitch on this with Vista. I have 2004 on and the navigation display wont show the route, and the irs wont show. Also, the fmc doesn't work. Any suggestions?
SOME, and I mean ONLY SOME Freeware qualify to be payware, however, their creators don't wish to go commercial. Obviously the payware aircraft have a definite edge over freeware when it comes to features and modelling. It depends which payware or freeware you have.
I know, it's my first home video. It's not perfect, and neither is your spelling, use of grammar and capitalization. Thanks for the non-existant constructive criticism.
nice video... maby a littel hard landing. try to raise the nose when the indication reach 100 feet over the ground... not 20 feet and if you have the correct speed you will se that the aircraft will lose its energy slowly and you will have a smooth touch... thats how its in real maby it works in the sim.. try it out!!!! But NICE video
The video was great gret plane great panel and everything. All I can tell you is that American dosent fly PW engine aircraft they use rolls royce RB211 for theyr 757.
and either way...i've never been in a plane that took that long to land. I would prefer to jump out than wait your a slow pilot like yourself to land the plane.
I flew the actual landing using the ILS autoland. Then I thought, "why not make this into a video." Then, I flew a totally bogus landing from outside and recorded with FRAPS.
Is that the base pack cs 757

its called ils
u dont need autoland
just disengage the autopilot before ur decision height and mke minor adjustments
at 100 slowly bring engines to idle after touchdown reverse thrust and idle when speed is 60 kias
exit at a hi-speed taxiway at 40 knots or a normal 90 degree one at 10 knots
reddishknight007 3 years ago
sorry to sound like a noob but how do you get ILS on the captainsim 757? I could do it on the PMDG 747 but it isn't the same on the CS757.

This must be on Vista, b/c if this was made in Movie Maker, some of the transitions and effects, are that of Vista's version of Movie Maker.

Yes, you're correct. My computers both run off of Windows Vista.

This is FS9. And I have a VERY good framerate. It's just that when I move the mouse around, the movement is bumpy.
772pilot 3 years ago
ok. I was just saying, b/c FSX needs good specs on your pc, to be nearly as good as FS9 framerates.

I normally just fly gps approach, i find it easier. I dunno how to find the ILS frequency and how to set the plane to the Freqency
Ramster211 4 years ago
Where do you put in the ILS Frequency in the 757? Is it the FMC > Nav radio?
If you can reply to this to verify that its correct or reply to me to correct it, that will be helpful :} thanks!
Shipdocks 4 years ago
Yes. In a way. Use the Nav1 frequency on the radio stack.

How do you land using the ILS?
vac4231 4 years ago
You need the ILS frequency of the runway you are landing to. Then, you need to set that to Nav1 and turn on autoland.

yes, they own the 757 with winglets and without winglets, so yes you can fly without the winglets.
