  • *Kneels and prays*

"Oh god, When I die please let me be taken to my grave in this beast"

  • That is an AMC Ambassador station wagon. Chrysler later bought AMC but this car was made long before Chrysler. The engine could be a Mopar 440 big block. AMC offered a 401 big block that was really a powerhouse though.

  • When I die, haul me off in THAT.

  • @smokenhq Doesn't mean we don't know how its done :D

Hats off to you guy in New Zealand, thats one mad car.

  • Sweet Burnout!

  • MOPAR power, baby. That's a decent workout for a 440. Rock on, that person running a Six-Pack or dual quads?

  • That car rules!

  • That was great! How much gas I wonder? May not be a true Hearse but it's a KILLER!

  • thats a frippn' station wagon!!

  • I went to my first AMC/Nash meet when I was 4. ;)

  • alright, thats what i want to take my trip to the yard in! :D

  • Fricken sick. Who cares that its a station wagon hearse it s fricken sick. You just cant beat the way a mopar sounds.

  • It might have been used as a hearse at a small funeral home, but it isn't a true commercial chassis hearse. Some funeral homes used station wagons as a hearse or a first call car because they could not afford the price of a full hearse. But this is not a true full hearse. I know because I have owned over 200 hearses over the years.

  • It was used in the 80's on the farm as my uncle and aunt had such difficulties with maintaining, let alone keeping the 'rubber fryer' running, then handed down to my cuz, as he used to cruise to school at a young age (13) as I recall - then to much more talent than his peers behind the desk he crafted the 'mopar experience' from another classroom - namely the barn....whether a full hearse or not, the car is sensational ride dead or alive.

  • Very kewl, but this isn't a hearse!

  • oh yes it is and it has worked as one aswell, I have known Morg for the best part of 10 years now (not a good friend but some I know)and I can tell you that it was a Hearse

  • sounds like you need another gear lol

  • FREAKING SWEET!

  • what brand tyres is he running to get that much smoke instantly, every video of this beast show the tires spitting off heaps of smoke heaps quick.

  • Its called "horse power" that makes the smoke instantly!! As for tyres they are all old silage stack tyres. There free and have been sitting in the sun for ages so the rubber is rock hard.

  • Thats a 1969 AMC Ambassador!!!

  • It is indeed a AMC Ambassador

  • No permitas que tu primer viaje en un coche fúnebre...sea el último!!

  • this is such a wicked car did you get it build by west auckland engine recontioners because my mate works there and he says he did some work on this monster and i dont belive him haha

  • Justin basically built the car himself. I believe they done the machine work for him on the motor and he assymbled the engine himself.

  • when i die, i want to be taken away in that.

  • It looks like a mid 70's AMC Matador. If you look at the doors handles they are AMC for sure. I heard the 360 and 390 AMC engine was based off the 360 Mopar small block v-8. 904 T-Flites Automatics will bolt up to a AMC engine!! Maybe the 727 as well...I seen a Gremlin locally with a blown 440 six pack (original six pack) engine in it!!

I sold him a 426 Hemi Crate engine for it to replace the 440..

  • The AMC engines were there own designs. NONE were based on another company's blocks. Even the early AMC 327(57-66). In 1970, AMC dropped the borg warner auto, and went with the 904/727's auto trans.

  • I talked to a AMC Javelin/Rebel/collector restorer locally and has belong to many clubs that the engines were based of off Chryslers small block 360 v-8. 1972 Matador wagon non commercial chassis..

  • better tell him to stop smoking the white stuff. If thats the case, the chevy 302 was based on the ford 302. since they share the same bore and stroke and all.

If thats a matador, they swapped an ambassador clip on the front, and shaved a few inches off the back of the fenders to make it fit.

  • The 67-73 Rebel/Matador shared the same parts as well the 67-73 Ambassadors exept the front end was a hair longer so that car is indeed a Ambassador wagon.prob a 69 or 70

  • The 1966-91 AMC 290,304,343,360,390 & 401 were based off the same block design and had NOTHING in common with the Mopar LA 273,318,340 and 360 small block.AMC had thier own V8's from 66-91. The tard you talked to doesn't know his AMC's!

  • that doesn't look like a hearse that looks like a station wagon in black

  • It is a genuine ex working hearse. and was used as so until it was turned into the beast you see here.

  • mighta been a genuine first-call car or it mighta served as a hearse, but a TRUE hearse it ain't

  • You're right, mate, it isn't a true hearse. There are quite a few true hearses in NZ, mainly Cadillacs that were imported more recently and never used as hearses here. But most of the American cars I've seen that actually served as hearses are station wagons converted locally. I've seen that car around a few times and it sounds AWESOME!

  • he D/C brakes, otherwise he couldnt of started in six lmao

  • ok for those of you who keep asking about the brakes! what you do is buy a line lock kit and run it in reverse on your rear brake lines so at the flick of a switch on the dash you can disconnect the rear brakes for burnouts and then flick them back on when you are finished. the kit also has a led light to tell you when its on so you dont drive around town with no rear brakes. Very cheap kit and way better then standing on the brakes and burning out the rear shoes like allot of idiots do.

  • that bloke is a dead set legend

  • maddddddddd

  • Dude makes it look effortless.

Thats power to burn ...... rubber.

  • siiiiick shit. did he disconnect the rear brakes? those tires light up so fast....

  • no it's coz the car has balls

  • that is sick!

  • nice

  • is that a hearse or just a station wagon?

  • Was originally a genuine working hearse! has also ocassionally been put back into duty for friends, family ect. smoking all the way to the cemetery! Its def going to be the way I go when its my time.

  • Its a wagon but was obviously used as a hearse. The body design save for minor front end sheet metal is the same as the 67-73 Ambassador,Rebel and Matador

  • Its american motor company not corporation

  • Nope your wrong. Its American Motors Corperation not 'company'

  • A slow ride to hell.

  • slow? sheeit holmes, with it sporting a huffin roots type blower, your quick to hit hades with that thing!

  • HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK HOLY FUCK

    It's black...it's big block...it's blown...it's a MOPAR...AND IT'S A HEARSE!!!!

Honestly I don't think it could get any better! This guy owns my dream car! I wanna see more of this animal...and yes GET IT TO THE SUMMERNATS!!! You'll blow everyone away!

  • Its NOT a Mopar.its an AMC'American Motors Corperation'its a AMC Ambassador prob a 1969 model

  • Sweet thanks for that info. AMC made some nice machinery :)

  • Correct, however since Chrysler bought out AMC, it is considered a Chrysler relative and hence a Mopar (Chrysler's part divisions) relative.

  • AMC since 1978 when Ma Mopar bought em out for the Jeep line has ALWAYS been the batsard stepchild of Mopar. We still barely get any respect from the Mopar camp.but that still is not a 'Mopar' Hearse.

  • Actually, AMC was bought by Chrysler Corporation (or Ma Mopar as you put it) in 1987 according to Wikipedia. I'll let your error go as a typo seeing as how I've done the same thing. If you have an AMC car, The Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA is sure to welcome it into the Chrysler relatives class.

  • i meant 87 and like i said,we AMCers while we get some respect form the Mopar camp, were still looked down upon and it shows especially in the Mopar mags when the only AMC they'll put in them is Mopar pwd. I do have an AMC I own a 74 Gremlin drag car with a healthy AMC 360 in it.

  • It's NOT a MoPAR - it's a damned AMC! There's nothing MoPAR about it! Sheesh!

  • the more i see of that weapon, the more i want to see,you guys are fucken insane and that car could spin the earth off its axis, top shit bloke !!!
