you got some good stuff on here mate! you dont have to attain a certain level to do gigs, you just play them and always try and improve like we all strive to do! (ive heard much worse from 'pro players to be honest!')

Okay, you're not ready for your Jazz gig yet. You're air was consistent in notes, but the volume got out of control at times. It was sort of crunchy some times when you slid between notes.

Thanks for your nice words. I do the best my limited talent will allow, but I don't practice enough, and nobody would want to hire me due to my being so darned ugly. Back in the Radio days I might have had a chance for a career, but nowadays with video, film and pictures I wouldn't have a chance! Aw Shucks! Life is tough.

I play with my fingertips when I'm thinking about it, but then when I get in to a melody and thinking about how to ad lib and improvise I forget and go back to my old bad habit of flat fingers. Did you ever notice that Louis Armstrong also played with a mix of fingertips and flat fingers?
