  • How come you don't speak Vietnamese . Its better for you to speak Vietnamese . With English sounds weird . Like 7or 8 hour . You need S

  • @DragonFruitsTv My English is not very good. I speak English sometimes to show my appreciation for English Speaking friends and viewers on youtube. Also a great way for me to practice my English. I'm trying, but sorry you think it's weird. I appreciate you viewing the video.

As for your English ... it is very good and do not be discouraged by others. I wish I could speak Vietnamese that well. Cam on, co. :)

  • @laotakao Thank you for your the nice comment. How sweet or sour is depending on personal preference. The most important is the crunch, I think. Have a wonderful holiday season and thank you again for watching my video.

  • Why is the sugar added in? DOesn't it taste better without the sugar?

  • @nrhiavkojxwb Basically, the mustard green should be sour; however, it should have a hint of sweet as well; otherwise, it would be too sour. This is a style particularly from South Viet Nam.

  • @nrhiavkojxwb Vietnamese pickle is sweet sour, unlike Chinese one which is very salty. Do whatever suit your taste.

  • what do i do if it's too sour??? just add sugar into the jar and mix it?? or mix the sugar in water then add it into the jar?? thanks alot!!

  • @mutegirl78 Once it's done but is too sour, it is hard to solve the problem. I don't think adding sugar will help. What you might want to do is when you're ready to eat, take out the portion you want to eat, then wash it in warm water and rinse. That may take away the sour a little. Hope that helps.

  • This looks very good - I will have to try making it :)

  • gosh, that looks so good. gotta experiment on this one. thanks !!

  • ive seen Mustard Green Pickles in the store but did not know how to eat them

  • @P0SSUMKING It's a side dish, usually eaten with rice and another meat dish. Somewhat similar to American cucumber pickles. American pickles has the sour and a little bitter taste, while this recipe for mustard green pickle is sweet and sour (more sour). The important key is the crunch.

  • I think I have had this before, but not sure,. It sounds like something I would have had with many dishes. Looks yummy if I haven't!
