  • Is that 14 Bit MiDI or 7 Bit resolution?

  • I second that, I understand it is an airport setting, what I have initially going on is my WPA2 network linked up with my iPad. For the home use, that's okay but, for use anywhere else would be complicated. I thought I heard "adhawk network", I must've heard that wrong because I don't know what that is.

  • @mujumove ad-hok, wow this new youtube subtitle thing is awesome!

  • @mujumove Pretty sure I found my answer on ad-hok network* @ Liine's support page!

  • @mujumove is it called ad-hoc?

  • @mmarmars Yeah apparently, I just create a network and name it Lemur. It's a computer-to-computer network, no problem's so far.

  • can you tell me more information about the wifi setting? is it an app on mac to set up as hotspot for ipad?

  • For some reasons I can't find the link to download the Daemon.. can anybody point me to the right direction?

  • where can i get the editor for my pc ?

  • Why don;t I have an arrow for daemon midi in?

  • IS THERE A LEMUR EDITOR SOFTWARE FOR PC?

  • @SlushyMBubble YES.

  • @SlushyMBubble YES, AND THERE IS A WAY TO TURN OFF CAPSLOCK TOO.

  • question...

is it possible to hook that up to traktor??

  • @chrishaslam323 yes, plenty of user templates already mapped out too

  • thats what my computer likes to call itself....

  • i simply love you guys. whenever i have a question in my mind about equipment you release the answer in a video!!!

  • @addi307 I'm happy you're enjoying them!

  • How can i use it with traktor?

  • @ThEJekX yes...in the next installment, we'll go over MIDI routing in the computer with ableton live...you could use most of the same process for traktor.

  • Stephan Bodzin uses it too! For all you infidels, Bodzin is a legendary techno producer from Germany. Check out his track Liebe Ist...

  • cool!

  • @ChromeGhost Yes, but Lemur is a little different in Maschine because only some of Maschine's parameters are able to be MIDI assigned (ie Macros and note values). I have been messing with it for a day now, trying to figure out the best workflow - Matt from Dubspot

  • @mcsg27 I appreciate the quick reply. I plan on getting an ipad in the near future and will be buying lemur. My ideal workflow would be to pull up a lemur template for the vst instantly by pressing the viewing button on maschine (where you press the button and the vst shows up on screen). That way I would be able to control vst parameters using lemur without having to use the mouse. I'm not familiar with the scripting possibilities of Lemur so I don't know whats possible yet.

  • @ChromeGhost Maschine already has VST parameters already mapped to its knobs. Regardless, these parameters are not MIDI assignable until they are put in one of the eight Group Macro controls. Only then can you assign a Lemur control via MIDI cc to that Macro knob.

  • @mcsg27 I'm aware that maschine already have VST parameters mapped to its knobs. The problem is that eight knobs arent enough to control some of the more in depth features of a synth like routing, step-sequencer or multi-segment envelope generators. What I was thinking(just so we both know we understand each other) was; I would have FM8 in pad 1 and Massive in Pad 2. When I hit pad one and press the button to view the synth, lemur opens up my template for FM8 and controls fm8. Same for pad 2

  • @ChromeGhost doesn't work that way...would be great if it did. Your only option here, which is how I have been using it, is to pick and choose up to eight parameters total from all of your vst's in a Group assigned to the Groups Macros. Then have the cc's assigned in Lemur to the macros. This essentially gives you another "page" on your iPad so you can have other parameters controlled via Maschine's knobs.

  • @mcsg27 ok cool. Are you going to do this in your tutorial? I'd love to see something using both lemur and maschine

  • seems better than touchosc.

  • what do you prefer Lemur or touch OSC?

  • @MrJakewoodall at this point, lemur. I used touchOSC for years, but unfortunately Lemur has more advanced features and objects, and the editor is much easier to use.

  • Sweet~! Now I can play pong AND play my music at the same time! ;D
