I watched the campaign news over my lunch at work, because unlike many liberals, I hold a steady job and pay my own bills without government assistance. I consider Fox the media, however, they are THE one out of MANY news channels, who actually DO bring up things about Obama. Now, I consider Fox as a network to be on the right, because some of their shows (Like Glen Beck for instance) make that very clear. But as far as their actual NEWS reporting, they report very fairly and reveal things on both sides. So I think more people SHOULD watch fox, regardless of left/right. But that doesn't happen. Then you obviously didn't go back far enough. Everything has gotten buried pretty quickly but every actual FACT I have quoted has been cited. My comments about the Couric interviews being spliced were direct quotes from uncut video footage which can be found on the dvd "Media Malpractice" (even IF you think the filmmaker was biased, the uncut footage is STILL there). The comment about the investigations being rumors was cited as being from The Anchorage Daily News, a very LIBERAL newspaper.
Those reports often fail to mention that in a town with just under 5,000 people, it would be quite difficult not to hire someone with whom she either knew or attended high school. The stories also make no mention or cast similar allegations regarding such behavior during her tenure as governor. A Google search isn't exactly the same as the news broadcasting that over and over and over. You don't see "FBI announces Palin is not under investigation" played on CNN every 15 minutes for a week.

I watched the campaign news over my lunch at work, because unlike many liberals, I hold a steady job and pay my own bills without government assistance. I also listen to talk radio in my car on occasion, read the newspaper, and come online to talk politics, watch videos and do research for maybe an hour as Im doing right now. I don't think that constitutes being in front of the tube all day. But unlike many, I know where I stand on issues and why, and who will represent me best.

Furthermore, it's not anyone's damn business what she wants to do with her time now that she's not the governor anymore. It's not like she said "Oh, I'm gonna quit governing to write a book!!" She stepped down because she was having to waste TAXPAYERS' MONEY to defend herself and didn't think it was right to the people. I'm not bitching or saying anything about Sarah is evil. She obviously enjoys the celebrity attention. If she's worried about people being rude because she can't say no (like you suggest) Sarah's a people pleaser, like most politicians.

I think those are some pretty big generalizations and for the most part, inaccurate. How can you say that all the people who go to ivy league schools are only interested in lining their pockets? That's just absurd. I haven't seen any indication that Palin is trustworthy at all. She's a nepotist who appointed unqualified friends to key positions (or created positions for them). Meh. I consider Fox the media, however, they are THE one out of MANY news channels, who actually DO bring up things about Obama. They aren't mainstream media, in the sense that only conservatives seem to watch Fox for the most part. Most every liberal I have met accuse Fox of being the "crazy right wing" therefore never watch it. Fox brings up facts on BOTH sides, so they should NOT be labeled that way, but they are. My comments about the Couric interviews being spliced were direct quotes from uncut video footage which can be found on the dvd "Media Malpractice" (even IF you think the filmmaker was biased, the uncut footage is STILL there). The comment about the investigations being rumors was cited as being from The Anchorage Daily News, a very LIBERAL newspaper.

Those reports often fail to mention that in a town with just under 5,000 people, it would be quite difficult not to hire someone with whom she either knew or attended high school. She didn't call him a terrorist; she said he consorted with terrorists. That is true if you know your facts. He was friends with Ayers who is a convicted terrorist, no matter how hard he tried to deny that fact. Walt Monegan is a moron. I've sat in a community council with about a dozen people and heard him speak and firing him was a good choice. (Because of character limit I wont go into that)

I'm sure that you are aware that he is also a professor at the University of Illinois. The man is not a recluse so he's bound to be "consorting" with somebody. I can hardly believe that all those he has educated has ever thought to take terrorist action, so it's foolish to debase an individual with the loose associations that he had with Obama.
She used fear mongering to the best of her ability, however every negative comment about her is hate speech and such.

Whatever kind of politician Sarah turns out to be, there is one inescapable fact... shes a decent, intelligent, good person. She may not be "smart" enough to be a good politician, but good politicians are nearly always bad people. She espouses what Americans should be- good people, good parents, not afraid to take on challenges and difficulties, and willing to listen to others while thinking for themselves.

I really love how all of us who are defending her are bringing forth hard facts and not getting any responses to those facts, and all the people bashing her are just stating stupid, obviously uninformed opinions, and slinging insults at her, like "she's bringing down the republican party" and "she's such a joke" and "she's so dumb." I don't argue against her being a joke... the sad thing is she IS a joke to so many people... but only because of the media dipshits taking stuff out of context.

Furthermore, pretty much every ethics complaint against Sarah Palin has already been proven baseless. Regardless, it has cost our state an insane amount of money and the Palin family 500 thousand in legal expenses.
The fact that people are abusing our legal system to waste so much of our states money because they do not like our democratically elected governor sickens me.
I believe if you support such actions you are not worthy to live in a democracy won by the lives of our troops.
