Whats funny is that JFK is so beloved even by Republicans these days. Back when he was alive and still president, he was every bit as reviled by Republicans as Obama is today. There were posters of him put up with his face that said the words "WANTED FOR TREASON" in bold letters. Its only after he died that he became a saint.

One of the 5 best presidential speeches of all time. Best line "we do this not because it is easy but because it is hard". JFK was truly one of a kind. Not always successful in his political endeavors but no one was able to deliver speeches as moving as he did.
