because to say you are a person is just another box, the 'person' box...specifically the 'person who is avoiding being put in a box', box - the dullest box of all.
Been on a similar train of thought recently with labels. Sometimes its just simpler to say "i'm bisexual and kinda male/female ish type thing" than it is to say "well i'm an androgyne which is *10 minutes of explanation* and technically not bisexual as that would mean i belive in a binary gender system *10 more minutes of explanation"
Its easy to lose people in a trainwreck of a thought that way. Labels sure are helpful for quicker explanations though!
No, but theres kind of a trade off between making things difficult and giving the correct information. I mean, its easy for me to say "i'm bisexual", but its not really accurate.
I was first going to just post a text comment on how androgyne is pronounced in the USA... at least the dictionary seems to confirm it, as I can't say I hear the word very often either. But then I realized that doing a video response would allow you to actually hear it. So yeah. Oh and I first thought your accent sounded Australian, until I saw that your profile said the UK... so I'm not really an expert on pronunciations and such.
why live in a box if you can live outside of it???
y not just say you are a person get rid of pronouns]
