  • I'm ochlophobic, too. I know what it's like. It's horrible. The thought of being with groups of people makes me vomit and cry. I'd love to go out with my friends but I just can't. It's so hard to deal with.

  • I have social anxiety aswell. Recently my friends haven't really been talking to me that much. That's probably because someone close to me died last week and I've been depressed. For the past year I haven't been able to communicate properly with people outside family. I really feel for you, keep going to therapy and hang in there mate.

  • Don't let other people tell you what you should be doing like security guard, because it doesn't seem like what you want to do. You can always try volunteering in the same field of interest...it is a lot less stressful than finding a job and you'll feel a lot better about yourself afterwards. Of course you'll still need to look for a job later, but I find it helps - less expectations in a volunteer position. Baby steps. It helps me.

  • You're life pretty much mirrors mine. I stay up through the night, sleep around 5am, wake up at like 4pm, turn on the computer, waste time, routine starts again. I want to go out, I see the sunny weather and think, it's nice out there than it is in here, but something holds me back, I've seen nobody outside immediately family for over 9 months apart from a therapist that I see fortnightly since 2 months ago. Can't see an end to it etc etc. Over think it, worry about next month/year/decade.

  • I just looked at his channel & it says he hasn't logged in for 2 days. So I'm sure whenever he gets online he will get back with you so you can join.

  • The recovery from social phobia is also for you, not just for others. Reading some books from people who have recovered from anxiety disorders helped me a lot in my personal recovery. May I suggest you to go to my website witch appears at the end of my channel on you tube and see the link for interesting books. Take care, my friend.

  • I used to wish real bad for a girlfriend, until I started college and working, then I kept busy and focused on myself more, and developed a sense of what I want in a girlfriend and what I don't want, even though I'm still single I feel a lot better about myself now. So I guess that's my advice, to just try to be independent first.

  • Doing and watching the youtube videos are good therapy, just being able to interact with others in the same boat helps a lot
