TGFYT(Thank God For YouTube) I loved this show so much and still do. This is my second marathon I'm starting because I pick up on things I might have missed before. MsPerogi do you think that maybe Vera was just relaying the denial of Bea's request and reminding her of it?
I've noticed (Not so much in this episode but in others) that when vinegar tits denies one of the women somethying, then she'll smile and look smug and confident. Every one tells me that she is lovely compared to the freak, it scares me shitless thinking what the freak is going to be like.
Vera's part in this scene was overblow! It was just made that way to make it look more dramatic. Vera had no authority in the matter. It is the Governor who gives permission to grant a Prisoner temporary leave for something like that! A funeral. I don't know the name of the request but In real life a person incarcerated does have a right to attend a Funeral of a deceased love one. It can be under close supervision or under restraints like hand Cuffs.
God Damn!!!...this show is so good!!! My mother watched this show when i was like 2 years old... and for some reason, Bea Smith's character was the only one that stuck in my memory. And as a kid a didn't realize how sexy a couple of these girls were. Like the main girl who got blamed for burying the kid. And the slutty girl thats messing with the electrician lol.
i missed this part :( it left out so much. i never understood why bea killed her husband. i thought she just hated him and i disliked her for it. but now i know that her husband kicked his own daughter out and exposed her to drug abuse. he deserved it >:(
Val was Aunty May. There was no way Vera could had prevented Bea from going to Debbie's funeral, she was NOT the Deputy Governor then Mrs Davidson was governor. So Vera gad no say so in who could leave and who couldn't.

Also, do you think that Bea killed Freddy for not taking proper care of Debbie while she was locked up.
@laminage She had 2 daughters. This clip was replayed too often to let that daughter have another. Her other daughter has at least 2 small roles that I know of.
Hey guys, which scene do you think was the saddest? When Bea visited Debbie's Grave or when Joan "The Freak" Ferguson visited the Grave of her girlfriend Audrey who was an Inmate.
@laminage Ferguson was sadder because Bea had found more inner peace over Debbie's death than the Freak ever could over Audrey. Bea could accept support, the Freak just tried taking it out on others.
Kat is right of course. This is so wonderful! But I don't think he'll be able to upload the entire show. YT would implode of the sheer size of the files!
