depends.1x is your calling service, EV is the broadband connection which determines whether or not you get internet.3G is just the speed and im not sure if verizon uses a 3G symbol on the reception bar
I am on the Verizon network and I am so hesitant to switch to ATT because of their questionable network. I currently have the old LG Env and I'm looking to upgrade to a smartphone. I've been comparing the Blackberry Curve and the Storm and I'm leaning toward the Storm, but I'm a little concerned about the mixed reviews. Which do you all prefer?
ya, if ur gonna get any blackberry, the bold is no question. however, if u are only looking at the storm and the curve, the curve is the obvious choice. Even though the storm has a much larger keyboard, it is absolutely horrible because of the massive button u must push on to make the touch screen respond
The best thing to do is go to the store and play with them A LOT :) Also, ask yourself what you do on it, why do you need that type of phone? Email? Blackberry is for you. Browsing? IPhone is for you, like the reviews say. I am very hesitant about the Storm because of the accelerometer, I've seen in reviews, it can take FOREVER for it to switch back and forth. I really want the iPhone but I'm hesitant about switching as well! I am very thankful that THIS is the extent of my stress :) :) :)
Hey man, thanks for the review...my sisters are getting me one for x-mas and was alittle unsure if I wanted it...but hey it did'ent seem all "that bad". Just the learning curve. Thanks for the indepth info...really helped out!
Very nice video. On my website I have mobile search for anyone to use you can search any mobile phone to recieve ads and promotions. You can also have online text for free to use. Just go to my profile.
jon do u think the lagginess and the bugginess will be fixed over a network update or through making new phones and including them with the better operations ??
Those kinks are ok for the every day consumer. However, this isn't a good phone for business because of those kinks. Blackberry is synonymous with business. The Blackberry Storm does not live up to the brand name at this time. I deal with business people all day long who will freak out when a phone doesn't do exactly what they want it to do. They get angry very quickly.
hey john, i have a lil tip for those who have the storm the edges dont quit click right but i found out that if, first take out the batt. n you put a lil piece of paper behind the batt. helps the clicking for the screen which works great wont hurt to try JOSH
you talked more and showed the phone less

btnh21 3 years ago

love the network of verizon ... but the phone is no iphone ... : /

iPhone had just as many kinks to work out when it was first released. They've had plenty of time and firmware upgrades to get it to where it is.
Give it time, my little iPhone fanboy. Give it time.
