  • Total theme song walking any where...

  • NMRP

  • Imagine this playing for New Years Eve

  • Wow!! Wow!! And did I say..wow?

  • This music is so beautiful! You just dream away to it.

  • this is the song... I take arrows out of my knee to.

  • epic music !

  • Wow... As a musician, this is the kind of stuff I dream of composing. Stuff like this is real music. It's art. It's beautiful.

CAUTION: If your primary source of music is the radio, you may experience confusion over this piece's presence of polyphonic, syllabic/melismatic, syncopated, multi-timbre, dynamic/articulation variant, and multi-octave, properties.

  • @JamesDiley I completely agree. I've been in music since I was five or six. I love the syncopation between the intro and what I suppose you could say is the melody, and the mix of classical with more modernized drumbeats. The presence of such, such musical interpretation is incredible. I'm not much of a composer, myself, but if I was, I could never compose something like this. Imagine, this sound was produced on synthesizers and electronic instruments.

  • @dolphindanny98 However, @JamesDiley, I must say your knowledge of musical jargon is astounding. I cannot compete with your knowhow, although I have been a musician for quite a while now. Props to you.

  • I could of sworn it was ebla es PROMETHEUS. Lol too much SG-1

  • Listening to this video overnight increases your powerlevel to over 9000!

  • 4:28 to finish...i just love it...gives me goosebumps on how beautifull it is.

  • matrix.......

  • this is fucking epic i heard this on pandora while working it was....just epic

  • First time hearing this song...haven't read all the comments.... anyone ever hear the similarities between this and Burn by Nine Inch Nails?

  • anyone know what they're saying and what language it's in?

  • @kimpeater1

Probably Latin, but I can't make lyrics out, even when they're in English.

  • @PsychoticLoner actually it's dog latin.

  • @kimpeater1 I'll try (for the beginning):

    Ante Lucia Briche neco

    Ninche Tricto

    Nia fatrice

    3 Times...

  • @OwexGoard cool, any idea on what it means?

  • @kimpeater1 Lol ! no...

  • I was just pulling weeds in my yard with E.S. Posthumus playing in my iPod.. felt like I was in an epic battle of good vs evil.

  • i need to put the first 36 sec as my ringtone

  • anyone try to like translate pater musa/musta regent/regen ergo from latin. i get like father shall rule or something.

  • "Wreathed in flame, they come. When they arrive, the earth shall tremble, and all shall know their wrath."

  • First one to put this as an epic reaction.

  • Esta cancion está en el juego "Ferrari challenge trofeo pirelli"

  • this is the song I take dumps too.

  • @06livefast ....you are a dump.....I have to go to the toilet now actually and have a 06livefast.

  • @06livefast HA epic dumps!!!

  • love how this was posted on christmas eve. makes it seem like an epic coming of santa clause :P

  • This song has been haunting me for days.

  • the beginning sounds like something out of the lion king

  • @burnnout The lion king's music sort of sucks compared to this,if you know what I mean.

  • i think i heard angels calling my name when i was listening to this song...

  • Wow, this group keeps coming up in my Pandora rotation and they're incredible. You guys have a new fan :).

This song screams "Super Metroid" to me, haha, great memories.

  • Shinryu of Final Fantasy would fit this theme perfectly if he was the final boss...and if he was about 60 times bigger than a building in New York.

  • I'm playing the same song simultaneously in a round for increased epicness

  • Sounds like the illuminati theme song.

  • I bet this was Chuck Norris' Clock Alarm.

  • @MadeMusicable It would be, but Chuck Norris doesn't need an alarm clock....

  • Really awesome song. I am a big fan of This type of music. I just recently was introduced to this group from one of my friends who lives in Japan!!!

  • it is on ferrari challege but a wrestler came out to this at the show i watched on friday

  • This type of music invokes those deep dormant feelings within yourself.

In any case, it beats anything on the radio

  • directly from god's ipod :D

  • Beautifulé

  • why odes good music remind everyone of war? Its funny how the usa film industry had glorified war with the use of powerful music

  • @5mdac THANK YOU...I agree wholeheartedly. I am accustomed to thinking this is war music too, but I wish I didn't hear it that way... =9

  • this makes me want to jump on my Great Steed and ride into battle!

  • this makes me want to jump on my Great Steed and ride into battle!

  • This song is fucking BAD ASS! nough said.

  • Starting @ 1:58 - 2:33 I remember hearing this music during one of the many trailers for The Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions. It was THAT small tidbit of music alone that threw me headfirst in loving the music used in movie trailers.

E.S. Posthumus, X-Ray Dog, Immediate & Two Steps From Hell all kick ass!

  • Distant Stars!

  • classic music will never be forgoten and it never was;)

  • rob dougan's another good composer of this genre too. electronic + classical = neo-epic!

  • :D

  • Oh how this makes me want to find one of my old, good Conquest games and just start ravaging my enemies for some great goal to restore peace and balance, or just as equally take it all away. This music has the epic feel that I need in games like that. I wish there were so many more songs like it.

  • it's the best music I hear

  • This is tremendously beautiful. I would also add that the amount of technical expertise that goes into a composition like this is not something that just about any producer can pull off, not without a clear audience to direct it at.

Modern music's just easier to make. Not that there aren't good modern musicians out there, but few are made to produce works like these.

  • Just an FYI, different people manifest different things as inspiration. Bashing people because they do or don't like this type of music doesn't help the unsolvable situation (unsolvable because ignorance is supposed bliss).

  • Going on from the last post, since I ran out of space to put letters on...

I have, so far, written a story over 10 pages long so far, (it is a short story,) and all while listening to this song. You have no idea what kind of effect this music can have if you do not truly enjoy and understand its majesty. It is the music that people can imagine during, yes, an extraordinary movie. But not as a trailer or just some lyric in the movie. As a type of song that goes through and is embodied by movies.

  • I remember a day in which people were in awe not of the number of 'box office hits,' but whatever had gone through and made itself known across the entire world. This type of music, like crapmunky99 said, has a power that can effect us all in a way most other music can't. This music has the power to strike a fire in people's hearts in a way no other music can. Why people nowadays do not realize that having the best voice and the best dance is not always the best music. People have forgotten.-Zam

  • E.S stands for "experimental sounds" for their contrast in sounds themselves Ebla is a great example with a faster paced seemingly modern beat to an orchestral overture the vocals are demanding of a large range and a knowledge of Latin I have yet to find a translation of the lyrics but for now this song is masterpiece of modern arts I hope when I am old and frail they know there was some shred of dignity in the culture of the modern generations.

  • This song gives me the vision of a Mad genius or revolutionary building his new world in his image.

  • @OblivionLord20011 i completelt agree with u, or a an evil empire taking over the world : )

  • @minidice67 True that! :) It's epic beyond compare.

  • Patermusa regen ergo, mit entricto, di ma fra trysil.

  • i like the sound of drums..

I never listened to something of this genre,

but suddenly I like it someway.

I cannot hear it everytime but it sounds cool.

    thanks for this vid.

greetz from germandy and thumbs up (:

  • This could have been the best Final Boss theme ever!

  • feel sorry for the nine people who were having a seriously bad, messed up day when they listened to this... To have a day so messed up you dislike this... Ho man... I don't even wanna think about it. :p

  • I feel sorry for the nine people who were having a seriously bad, messed up day when they listened to this... To have a day so messed up you dislike this... Ho man... I don't even wanna think about it. :p

  • Ferrari Challenge Soundtrack.Bad game,amazing soundtrack . ;)

  • Ok, I was kind of right? I knew it was a fusion, but the "rock" is the drums I was talking about...it's like electronica. Man, this song just is so powerful. I love this kind of stuff. Wow.

  • I'm a belly dancer and this came up on the belly dance station and I loved it right away. What kind of music is this? I would like to think I'm pretty good at figuring out music. This reminds me of a cross between chamber music, classical and rock. What is this?

  • the song that plays when Chuck norris drinks coffee

  • @crapmunky99 i agree it is a real shame that its so hard to find music like this anywhere.

  • Years after the fact, E.S Posthumus still kicks ass. I wonder what happened to them, haven't heard much about them lately...

  • @Tyson03 The composer died.

I almost cried when I heard.

    Forever remember him!

  • This music still amazes me everytime I hear it

  • what kind of genre is this

  • @JEDEJOMANJE Ensemble or musical Ensemble

  • @stutfly92 thanks

  • I was listening to my Hans Zimmer channel on pandora when i heard this, now i cant stop listening to it.

  • @RimzyPink

same boat :) i was working with pandora on the background and was like what is this amazing song!? Came straight here to look it up and add to favorites so I wouldnt forget it

  • Could someone make some suggestions for similair artists or songs like E.S. Posthumus please?

  • @Mercenary874 Clint Mansell is the only one who is marginally close that I can think of :p

  • @Existentialisht Hans Zimmer, Martin O' Donnell, John Murphy are pretty good too and then like Barbossa said : X-Ray Dog, Two Steps From Hell, Immediate Music, and Globus are really good too.

  • do these lyrics mean anything?

  • I salute you! Your absolutely right... When I do psilocybin, I only listen to quality music with a deep message. Something you won't find in Gaga, Lil wayne or any of the current forerunners.

  • 388 persons loved this song 9 are deaf

  • i like the "technoey" feel to this song. reminds me of Metroid Prime 1 lol

  • the main tune on my ps3 ferrari chellenge trofeo pirelli

  • WW3 music right here

  • Fei Long at 0:42 not my find but funny though.

  • @JJx911

lol I getcha. I wish I'd seen this comment AFTER I'd heard that bit and found it for myself though, 'cause I'm sure I'd have definitely noticed it - I love his music and it's one of those ones that float around in my head every now and then randomly. Like ones from Tenchu: Stealth Assassins

  • what is this genre called? i have a few songs like tis on my mp3 player this good!

  • @wresltgal epic music

  • theme song for Ferrari Challenge :D

  • @lookoutitscaleb Thanks

  • This song moves me like no other has ever moved me. I can feel the stirring of my blood, as if though the music wants me to go and find my one purpose. I stumbled upon this gem when I was listening through Pandora, and it completely spoiled all of the other songs for me. This is just too eloquent, too well composed, too moving for me to ever wish to listen to anything below its level ever again...

  • @Musicforthegods I also found this through Pandora, what an amazing online radio!!

  • @babydragon51987 Same here! Wow, I would have never heard it except for a friend introduced me to Pandora. And I love the blend of choir and old school trance....I am a sucker for this kind of music. xD

  • Its impossible to describe the feeling you get when listening to this

  • Amazing.

  • Has anyone one else got a listing of composers of this genre?

  • @jacobite19 to name a few: X-Ray Dog, Two Steps From Hell, Immediate Music, and Globus

  • @Barbossa32 Thanks

  • @Barbossa32 ..... FYI I managed to download most of music made by X Ray dog and while it has similarities to ESP, most of their songs are 90 seconds long and sound like they belong in a video game or a sports cast bumper or announcement. Good for some, but not for me.

  • @Barbossa32

    brand X

also a very good one ;)

  • @Barbossa32 Two Steps From Hell and Immediate Music are fantastc.

  • @jacobite19 Saltillo is really good if you're into stuff like this.

  • @jacobite19

Expanding on Barbossa32's reply; Future World Music, West One Music, Ars Arcana, Nox Arcana, Audiomachine, Auracle Music, and Atmosphere Music, as of yet that is all I know of.

  • @jacobite19 there are other specific composers? aside from ludovico einaudi and yann tiersen I don't have a whole lot of composers.

  • @jacobite19 "Two Steps From Hell" in my opinion is the best, album title is called "Invincible".

  • sooo................... beautiful!

  • this song would pump me up for battle or some shit

  • yeah!!!, this is exactly what I want!!!!

  • This song is orgasmic.

  • To anyone who hasn't listened to this song, this sounds like an exaggeration. To everyone else, it's an understatement.

Try listening to two copies of it, desynced by .5 - 1 second. The chorus will release your soul.

  • this is so awesome

  • Ebla and Nara are perfect songs

  • omg 3:00 perfect dark music much? haha i'll bet thats what the music in perfect dark was based off of lol

  • Wonderfull

  • stunned and got lots of shivers...

  • This song is powerful, even whitout guitars or singers who just scream. But cqn someone pls translate what they're saying? im notnthat good at latin...

  • Posthumus created their own derivative of the Latin language, so it'll be pretty tricky to translate

  • If like I wanted to create my own orchestral music like this like i have the ideas and sound tracks in my head i have a ear for music however i dont play any instruments. Is there a software or something I can use to create such music, i actually wanna make an album I have the talent im just not sure how to go about it thanks ? I asked you coz you sound like you know about this. thank you again. or anyone else here that can advice me your opinions are much appreciated - Joel

  • In other words..... you're screwed.

  • I wonder if i were to search for this type of music what would I type in?

I know this is not classical, or any of the modern rap crap.

  • oi ewet be sure to mention what kidan modern rap crap you liste too:P

  • Classical, metal, electronica. They all can apply.

    Rap isn't all crap.

  • A Truly holistic symphony to the soul.....placid yet powerful

  • I call this category of music "Power House" anything within said category normally belongs on the back shelf of today's music... sadly... I cannot commit to such a tiranical act... this music is shere bliss!

  • Simply Heavenly

  • oohhhh... at 1:56 ............. FUCKING EPIC

  • Blasting down the back straight in a 500+ horsepower sports car. Trading a little paint and leaving the turn left crowd in the dust. I cant forgeth putting Krazyoldman into a wall! LOL

  • shear beauty!

  • why?

  • Because I'm weird o.o

  • No matter what, each time I hear this song I grab a pen and a spoon and pretend I'm on drums.

    Then I cry.

    <3

  • do that for pompeii man! Pompeii makes you feel epic...

  • whenever i hear Pompeii playing i go into Hero mode and leap around like a freak shooting invisible enemies and pwning them with godlike kung fu lol

Pompeii makes anything epic. even having a bog or eating a sausage roll.

  • @Deejay10K hell yeah dude i listen to this song and pompeii while playin PVKII lol

  • @Deejay10K hahahahaha hero mode huh? i can't even talk because i do the exact same thing lol

  • @Nick05000

    o; I know right ;]

  • has to be the best song ive ever heard in my life... why does this music have to be so hard to find?!

  • The reason music like this is so hard to find would mostly be because mass media has little appreciation for this kind of music. Now a days, it's more about promoting whatever they think will bring in the most money, and less about being unique or significant. Yes they'll put music like this in movie trailers, but again, it's to make money for the movie, not to promote the music itself. A waste really, since this music has a power that can effect us all in a way most other music can't.

  • Spoken like a true listener of great music. Any of these types of music can kick today's music's ass. It's not about the words or lyrics of a song. It's how much power there is behind a specific song. No doubt this is and all other music like this is more powerful than any other music today. All this music kicks ass!!!

  • @Barbossa32 i agree im 15 and i think this music is great sure i listen to other genres but i acknowledge the awesomeness of this kind of music

  • @IPlayWoWDude same here. i like 403 Forbiddena[very fast, japanese], but i love this slow, Strong Music. nothing where's it down...

  • @Barbossa32 exactly. i can't believe[well, actually, i can |:3] that THIS Kind of Passionate Music isn't being written about. why aren't we interviewing the Composers?[in a BIG Paper?] wow... it's just sad...

  • @Barbossa32 I Love this song but yea ur right its not about the lyrics or words. but none of my friends listen to me :/ they say they don't like this kind of stuff cuz there aren't any words. they dont know good music

  • @crapmunky99 . so true man, so true.

  • @crapmunky99

they wouldnt push inspirational music from any genre. this music makes individuals feel power, as if they can do anything. and becoming powerful (in your own right) is largely a state of mind.

better to feed the prols uninspiring low-down gutter music by the likes of Christina Aguarlera (or however you spell her stupid name) and 50 pence. safer all 'round for a system designed to enslave people's mind.

  • @MustNotRead indeed. well said sir.

  • @MustNotRead Yep today music is degenerate (what sheeple listen to), but this is powerful it inspires your imagination.

  • @crapmunky99 Could not have said it better myself, I guess they want humanity to be like gutter insects then the angelic like ascendent that we all can be! It is a real waste to bad that sucks to. And it is all for that holy of holies the all mighty dollar.

  • @crapmunky99 AMEN brother, you sir know what's wrong with todays society!

and just like Barbossa32 said "Spoken like a true listener of great music".

  • @crapmunky99 I love this comment.

  • @crapmunky99 that actually means something i didn't want to see sherlock holmes but what made me want to watch it is the song unstoppable by e.s posthumus

  • The felling you people are getting is called sublimation. its a primal thing

  • This song is in Ferrari Challenge. Not a horrible game, but this song is definitely better.

    rofl.
