I agree the screen is horrible; you can see each and every pixel. But when you consider the battery life of an iPod compared to this, i'd say it's worth it.
I listen to a lot of music (4 hours a day) and i only need to recharge once a week.
Also it can't play videos, so a good screen is not necessary.
Another good thing about BeoSound 6, is that every playback function and volume is adjustable whist in sub-menus.

Thanks, well the software is pretty useless ( BeoPlayer ), sounds good, feels god, but only one but scratches ( on the aluminum ).
I cannot connect mine to the BP at all called B&O Toronto well I know more about their items then they do... Overall a good investment (not a lousy iPod cant compare the sound and look).
