with koleston perfect you need to use 1 part colour 1 part developer or the colour wont process properly, and with the colour touch you need to use the developer that goes with it as the one your using is for permenent colour and wont work well, you use 1 part colour 2 parts developer for colour touch, just letting you know as i use this daily at work and you might ruin your hair xx

@imXleftXaloneX34 You wouldn't be able to get it out. Red hair is very difficult to keep bright red, but almost impossible to wash out completely. I had to cut mine short and then grow it out for 18 months and it looked horrible at various times. I would never dye it again. I am a natural blonde and happy with that now :)

@HannahxShadow Keeping these hair colours really does damage your hair. You need bleach to make it vivid like that. Mine started breaking so I had it cut short and grew it out, took ages, I would never dye it again.

I dyed my hair neon red too, and i hate it. I wanted red, not red with orangy colors in it. It was the paul mitchell one, and it fades so fast. I dyed it Saturday, and it faded to like a orange pink color in 2 days, now my hair is almost that pinkish color again, grrr.

@bradBREAKdown Make sure you are washing your hair with luke warm to cold water, red pigment is very large and does not stay in the hair very well. Also try to wash it every other day, if you need to shower use a shower cap. I take my shower with a shower cap on then get out and wash my hair in cold water in the sink.

@KalidescopeKreations You do get reactions like that when your red hair fades, I'm not gonna lie to you. And when mine got damaged I had to grow it out for a year, it really upset me at various times. Think carefully before you do it, consider if you are tough enough to ignore those comments or if they will get to you. I grew mine out for 18 months, took a long time before I was blonde again. Just be careful because once its red it is impossible to get it out. But good luck if you do! :)

It may get you unwanted attention from teachers etc, my friends had blue, green etc hair at school and were often complained about and punished for it, but the teachers can't do anything about it once you have doen it, but may give you a hard time. Do not regret the things you have done, only those you did not do, so go for it I say :)

i would say that is more of a orange tone than a red. if youd like a more stronger red made with a pink base instead of the common orange base go to a whole saler and buy a tube of L'Oreal Majirel mix Red Rouge. it look a lot better and more of a red instead of an orange. (i am a L'Oreal colour technican). :)

I've been using the bright red Koleston (by Wella) for years and I love, last much longer than most red dyes. They also make red and orange intensifiers that you can add in your mix, just in case you want more kick. But the key to keeping your color is too NOT wash it out. Also, I use manic panic in between dyes to make the color last longer without adding more damage.
