Can someone explain why these engines don't make too much horsepower? Totally not trying to badmouth it in anyway, I've just always been curious to why it typically takes some deep pockets to make ~145hp. Not that these cars need a whole lot, I just find it interesting. Nevertheless, nice car, very clean.
@winescargo back in the day of the 1980/90s getting 160hp out of a 1.6L 4cyl engine was considered phenomenal. V6s and V8s were only getting around 150hp there or there abouts. One of the reasons why the 4AGE and the B16A were considered revolutionary
@winescargo cuz they are small displacement and N/A. they could make alot more with forced induction, but cars that are this size and weight dont need crazy hp/torque to be quick- like a 60s beetle for ex- 160 hp on a car that weighs less than 2000lbs would give you some good thrust :D

also the body kit?
i want all the information about the car and from where can i get the parts?
i want to build same car but with diffrant engine ;)

I don't know if they still make the body kit, but you can find replicas on Club4ag.
