  • Pranam, I express my deep sense of gratitude and deeply indebted to the Vedic Scholors who prepared this Vedio and explained the reality. I am thankful to for giving befitting reply to the half baken alien religious persons who are denigrating Hinduism. Alas, see the fate of Islam it is surrendering to Hindu Scriptures for its survival and existance, thanks for yours magnificient effort, probably conciet and decietful persons twisting the Hindu Scriptures are licking the wounds.

  • Yes, there are a lot of preconceptions about the name Hindu. But not only the Muslims think that way, many people thinks that Hindu was a low way that the colonialists used for to treat the people of India.

    A good commentary.

    Congratulations.

  • Thanks..Learned for the first time the meaning of the sanskrit word Indu.

  • on the right, in "related videos" your are seeing 2 videos by "Politactic". he is a "JEW" who is plotting propaganda in youtube. beware of such Propagandists.

  • This is the best video contain explanation with the proof for the word "Hindu" in Arabic text.

    Thanks for all this.

  • Indu==moon, no doubt in that.

In malayalam we still use Indu for moon, considered as more poetic in classic literature. I know this is true for many other languages in India too.

  • wow, uthisth bharatha.....

  • Awesome video!!! 5 Stars!!!

  • Nice video.i too don't believe that Arabs mispronounced 'Hindu' instead of 'Sindu'. if they cannot pronounce 'si' in sindu. there should not be any word which sounds 'si' in Arabic.but there are several words, even in Koran which sounds 'si'. there are even Towns and cities around Arabia with the sound 'Si'

example : sinai peninsula near egypt. Atleast they could comfortably pronounce 'Shi'. hence it is lame to say 'Hindu' is an arabic word of 'sindu'. so 'hindu' is not a foreign word.

  • Greatest lie spread against Hindus

    1. Aryan Invasion theory

2.Hindu is foreign word coined by muslims \Arabs or Persians who cant say S

If Persians or Arabs couldnt say S then Persia would have become PERHIA!!. Why is it not PERHIA?

The word Hindu appears in numerous Sanskrit scriptures.

People who are colonial slaves will believe any lies that their colonial masters tell them

  • As we know that Vedas in Sanskrit says "Hey-Indra "frequently and Ashoka has Prakits language so when you say Prapta(=to achieve) it says Prapat so is "Hey-Indra" as Hinda in prakrit so is Hinda or Hindu derived at by others than relating it to Sindhu which is not true.Mohmaad Pygamber stayed in India to learn Hinduism so he may have added his Arabic versiom to it as Al-Hinda

  • From Chinese records of Yuan-Chwang. And Hindus and Hinduism: Manipulation of Meanings by Sita Ram Goel:

In an inscription found at the holy city of Gaya in Bihar, the Vijayanagara king Acyutadevaraya is eulogised as hinduraya-suratrana, the firm establisher of the Hindu kingdom. His Unamanjeri Plate issued in Saka samvat 1462 (AD 1540) calls him not only hinduraya-suratrana but also induvamsa-sikhamani (the jewel in the crown of the lunar dynasty).

  • The Asokan inscriptions (300 B.C.), repeatedly use expressions like

'Hinda' for 'India' and 'Hinda loka' for 'Indian nation'. 'Hinda' and its

derivative forms are used more than 70 times in the Ashokan inscriptions.

  • Hindu Hai Hum Hindu Hai Hum

    Vatan Hai Hindustan Hamara Hamara

  • WOW!!! inspirational!!!

I always thought that hindu was given to us by the persians... obviously not, it is more complex. Hindu represents the moon, in the same way hindus and the moon shed light, one shedding physical light and the other shedding spiritual light... in other words...Vedic Gyan. JAI HINDU!!!

  • Bharat mata ki jai!

  • Dear Vedic Gyan,

Going into the nomenclature of the word HINDU is quite pointless & can only provide some political leverage in an argument. But Santana Dharma's teachings are eternal and need more emphasis than these needless details.

Also, Surya plays a very important role in our belief system as it symbolizes soul consciousness and all of Ramayana is Ikshvaku dynasty. Even daily prayers in Yoga or rituals is centered around Sun. So attaching importance to Moon is again contradictory.

  • The point here is Sanatana Dharma AKA Hinduism ultimately talks about consciousness and everything else is a mere symbol pointing to this direction.

  • Whether it came from hind, or sind i do not care i live in usa and i follow hindoo teachings from baba ramdev. hindoo is a good word and everybody is a hindoo. i maybe white but i am hindoo. i really like hari om tatsaat song on the back ground. the word hindoo is found everywhere becoz everyone was hindoo in the begining.

  • Hari Om Tat Sat !!

Proud of the Sanathan Dharma Heritage !!

  • Very nice video. Thanks!

  • Thanx for sharing the light.. this is great..

Jai Hind ! Bharat Mata Kee Jai!

    Hari Om Tat Sat

  • What some Europeans or some muslims say about Hindus or Buddhists never bother

They have a history of blood shed and invasions and human tirture while Dharma have never taught us to harm anybody..

  • The beauty of Dharma is its shows the multiple paths to light and for once, never forces anybody by sword or fire to accept that this is the truth. That is why Dharma is Eternal. Teachers come and go, saints are born and die but the light of Dharma illuminates forever.

  • There are certain universal truths completely independent of religion.

Being an atheist myself, I do see a geater bulk of those truths embodied in the religion of the Hindu, however, nature does not need human permission. The tiger does not care if you are vegetarian.

  • Choosing look at transcendental & metaphysical aspects of life, I don't see Hinduism as a religious practice but as an inquiry into the nature of reality, spirit & cosmos itself = universal truths.

Nature does not need human permission, true. But man needs to overcome his own animal nature to understand Nature. Agreed Tiger does not care, but the same Tiger also does not seek spiritual knowledge, paint pictures, observe planets, invent maths & build civilizations.

  • The tiger is a spiritual knowledge embodied, as is the crane, the monkey, or even the tree.

In many martial arts animals are used to represent a style of combat (in the Buddhist sense of thought). It is a direction of the "chi" as Buddhists call it, that helps to make the meditation of movement take on a more automatic, subconscious reaction in battle.

I practice an art identified with the tiger, and it lends to my understanding of how to behave in situations of danger.

  • The comment reminds me of the movie 'KungFu Panda':)

Yes, even in Yoga the postures are all based on animals. See again, here the Tiger doesn't imitate man or snake or peacock but man does to perceive reality in many dimensions and seek unity in diversity.

'Tiger is a spiritual knowledge embodied' true, but can it transcend itself to realize that? That is where we have this concept of moksha or liberation, going beyond bodily, material & sensual realms.

  • justdoodleit: "man does to perceive reality in many dimensions and seek unity in diversity."

This is a paraphrase from a book by Carl Jung I had read in college:

'In all the cosmos, there is chaos and in chaos there is order, but a secret order.'

  • true eternal transcendence lies beyond the material ever changing cosmic manifestation ,true transcendental knowledge is beyond the modes of material nature and is described as confidential by the author of the vedas ,Vyasadeva, such knowledge is only available to those connected with the suppreme via Disciplic succession. all else is on the mental plane and is mental concoction due to its temporary nature and fabrication by the material mind and intelligence

  • justdoodleit: "'Tiger is a spiritual knowledge embodied' true, but can it transcend itself to realize that?"

We cannot know this until we have become the tiger.

  • Yes. To put it more metaphorically - All our existence is 'this process of becoming'.

  • SirWinstonChurchill: "We cannot know this until we have become the tiger."

Which means in Zen terms to become Buddha to know Buddha (in this case example of Tiger) The Hindu equivalent is to become pure consciousness free from all worldly conditioning and illusions.

  • That is merging of our limited perception of self with the unlimited Universal Self.

  • My friend the point here is who or what cult is bashing Hindus and making foolish claims that the word 'Hindu' was given currency by the Arabs in the 8th century.?. The same cult also teaches HIERARCHICAL POLYTHEISM which is completely against Vedas. These people or cult are product of colonial education and slavery runs in their veins!!. They will believe any mumbo-jumbo their colinial masters tell them!!.

  • My point here is that humans tend to reduce everything to the barest of essentials for spiritual knowledge and vegetarianism is only an aspect of it.

A rather vague analogy -It's not like how fast one can go with unlimited fuel, but how far one can reach with a limited quantity. I hope you get what I'm trying to say.

  • I understand completely.

One thing I readily identify with in Hindu thought is some paintings I saw regarding reincarnation and how some people's behavior in their lives will cycle them to the next life as something else.

  • Hindus and Buddhists are nature friendly religions who speaks about respecting all life and thats why we are vegeterians..

Many europeans are vegeterians and some are ignorant to belive that being vegeterian is a path to kindness..

  • Yes, the faith that preaches respect for nature is the closest to nature and its creative force. It emphasizes impermanence of everything and dispels fear of death. Those who understand this simple truth will never kill in the name of their gods.

  • Europeans and americans can say whatever they want and be true and that because they are whites and have power..

So everything they tell will be belived..

    Example the sati:

No European states that sati was an term of death before dishonor where Hindu womens killed themself rather than being abducted by muslim invaders..

Even Euro christians honor their womens who killed themself under the Ottoman invasions were many christian womens were taken as sex slaves of king Mehmet..

  • GrandmasterTigerfist: "Europeans and americans can say whatever they want and be true and that because they are whites and have power..."

Racism is the belief that there are different races and not just one HUMAN race.
