I'm pretty sure the reason this game didn't sell well was that the scene which Stauf had a stroke and started speaking in tongue didn't go well with people
The 7th Guest was the first PC game we bought when my family got our first computer when I was a kid. (And such an age-appropriate game that was.)
It would be so very awesome if you also did a playthrough of that in the future. The 11th hour is certainly interesting, though I don't feel as attracted to the storyline-- at least not yet. The whole "gamebook" element is also a bit bemusing-- but I guess it was done to make it feel a little more modern.
yeah, i agree. the 7th guest did a lot of things that i thought were kinda left to die in this installment, but I have to say I like having the hints at my fingertips, rather than having to go to the library to read the book every time i wanted help.
I love how he reads it all despite it being encrypted.
Thanks for letting me play this vicariously through your videos. I always coveted both this and 7th Guest when I was younger, but I never got the chance to. In retrospect, looking at the puzzles, I am almost glad I didn't. I would have been so frustrated. :)
looks like the woman you saw in the bathtub in 7th guest is the only body you see in this

Am I the only one thinking there's a little problem with the music being too loud and covering skorch's voice?
