  • I remember that season well.

I had these highlights on video disk.

That was what we had before VHS tapes.

    The disks were more clear.

    Anyway, thanks for uploading this.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • RIP Joe Delaney...died in 1983 trying to save three little boys who were drowning in a makeshift pool at a contruction site.

  • @quietriotfan1976 True indeed...whenever I see the #37, I don't even think of Lester Hayes ('n he was my man)...first PERSON that comes to mind is Joe Delaney...it could B the "37th minute" on the clock showin'...he's pops into my mind always!!! A great lost to the Delaney family, Chiefs organization, 'n the NFL as a whole...

  • @quietriotfan1976 Joe Delaney was nothing short of sensational. He was a rocket who changed directions quicker than a politician. he was tough, instinctive and could catch the ball out of the backfield. He was a dangerous outside runner with great acceleration and lightning cuts.

  • @plntntvzn Well said, he was one of the most exiting runners I ever saw. RIP, Joe.

  • @quietriotfan1976 i never knew who he was till my best friend told me about him. i was knew to playing/knowing nfl overall. we were playing the electric football game .he had all the teams and was placing Delaney for a play. he has passed on as well :(. thanks mike R.I.P
