it's scott eckern. my family actually used to be friends with his family. not only does he work in theater, his sister is a lesbian. he gave money to support something that takes away his own sisters rights. that's something i cannot comprehend. i can't comprehend prop 8 anyway, but that just blows my mind.

The protests are nice but the boycotts are key. If those people who gave money for Prop 8 are punished from a economic standpoint they will think twice about giving money the next time something similar comes up. They can still do it- but they better realize they will lose all their business from gays and those of us who support the gay community in their quest for equal rights.
