  • If your stretched out and warmed up I dont see going fast as being a problem, as long as its a manageable weight. I see guys going all out at the gym on the cables and they're beast. If you try doing dynamic movement like this when your cold your asking for injury.

  • sooner or later he will have to adapt to nice and easy motion , because sudden movements and jerks to joints can not be afforded for later years of exercising. this fast movements can't be sustained for life but slow and steady have a better chance of surviving it till longer.

  • personally i find that he does the reps way to fast for them to be any kind of effective... seems like it would be more damaging in a way. but hey its the old boy rudy. liked him as a marine better though.

    The way that i learned was that you need to be nice and constant, even if you have to slow down..which is best.

    Because its alot about the lactic acid. When you start to build up lactic acid, you also make muscle growth hormones. I dont see how being reckless on the machines work...

    But hey, look at him, maybe it does work.

  • @SomeGreenTea :( your completely missing what i was talking about, what i was talking about wasnt muscle breakdown but injury to ones self for doing the reps so fast. improper form on weighted exercises can lead to joint and tendon problems broham. hope you die soon.

  • @SomeGreenTea oh man another expert fagg... tell ya what boss these fast movements arent really beginner friendly, anybody trying this shit for the first time or even the thousandth time for that matter can easily fuck up their joints or strain muscles. tearing down muscles for the burn is one thing but straining em is another. learn the dangers of improper fitness techniques before commenting.

  • Rudy, you're awesome man. I like these videos and liked Generation Kill even more. I'm not knocking you, but wouldn't you want smoother, slower, more controlled movements to prevent momentum?  I know you integrate cardio into your workouts, so I can understand the fast pace to some degree.

  • If one wants to isolate, yes, bordering on bodybuilding rather than pure physical perfection erobically and anaerobically. But he uses the primal idea to workout like one would do in a practical sense of real life situations. A.k.a. Semper Fi.
