You know that I absolutely agree with John Lennon, as far as the B-52's having the best debut album of all-time. So unique and one of a kind they were. Especially with Ricky's style of guitar playing. I can't believe how he thought of removing the two middle strings of his guitar and tuning the remaining ones down low. That was totally genius. What an original sound he gave that group. Rest in peace, Ricky.

I love this band! great chemestry, although this live version is a little bit slower than it used to be.... Devo last performances also had this problem. But it´s still great!

You know that I absolutely agree with John Lennon, as far as the B-52's having the best debut album of all-time. So unique and one of a kind they were. Especially with Ricky's style of guitar playing. I can't believe how he thought of removing the two middle strings of his guitar and tuning the remaining ones down low. That was totally genius. What an original sound he gave that group. Rest in peace, Ricky.

The B-52's music never grows old, not many New Wave bands do and another example is Devo who are also still playing today.

Oh Kate, Kate, Kate!!! Can you believe she's 59! Still sexy. I remember putting "Mesopotamia" on at a friends house as a goof, and was just blown away. Been a big fan ever since. It always freaks my friends out when they look through my cds and see all the B52s!
